None of the frozen bodies look like younger women, mostly older men.

I have a boon that is contains what is essentially a one-shot plant-based antitoxin. It doesn't explicitly say that I can give the antidote to other players; do you have a ruling?

Antidotes and Remedies: Among the poisonous plants in the Sarini garden, Kulga found four potent medicinal plants, each of which has a different effect. She collected a bundle of plants from each of these plants for future use. She may chew a bundle of plants as a standard action to produce one of the following effects (once each):
Heal d4+1 points of damage.
Gain a +2 alchemical bonus on Fortitude saves against disease for 1 hour.
Gain a +2 alchemical bonus on Fortitude saves against poison for 1 hour.
Gain a +2 alchemical bonus on Fortitude saves against effects that would nauseate or sicken her for 1 hour.

Any chance that casting endure elements would help her with the poison, if it's cold-based?

Seeing Bokkah falter, Kulga roots around in her pack and pulls out some herbs that are supposed to be sovereign against poison. The murderer I took these from may have labeled them as antidotes as a cruel joke. But I don't think so. They grant a +2 alchemical bonus to saves against poison for an hour. Kulga's just not comforting.

While she's in there she muddles a different bundle and applies it to her wound as a poultice. Heal: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

"Should we use the wand? It must be here for a reason?", Braye picks the wand after Garduk identifies it and discharges a charge on each person. Then later, Brayne waits for Kulga to open the next door. "Any chance nothing's going to kill us when we open this door?"

Brayne casts endure elements on everyone and you feel much more comfortable in the frigid room. Bokkah consumes the herbs and that seems to just do the trick as Bokkah begins to feel warmth return to her body.

However, endure elements did not seem to have aided Bokkah.

You enter the next room to find, a few desks, three chests, and a standing cabinet are here along a wall facing the West Exhibit Hall made of smoky glass. Fading in and out of vision, the shadowy form of a slablike table holding an unconscious, vivisected human man, his chest rising slowly with each breath, is superimposed over the southernmost desk. Medical implements and alchemical devices are spread across nearly every surface, some more substantial in form than others.

Bokkah begins to advance to examine the unfortunate victim, as Kulga scans the area as well, nothing catching her attention. Garduk detects magic and finds there is magic in the area, as he continues to concentrate he realizes illusionary magic is in the room, he then begins to determine it's location, the ceiling! Before he can utter a word, a vial whizzes through air, revealing a crazed looking shadow person, who clings to the ceiling with one hand and two feet.

The vial lands on Bokkah erupting with an explosion of acid, splashing everyone. DC 14 Reflex for half the splash

The shadow alchemist then drops down and tries to bite Kulga with unnaturally jagged teeth, but they can't penetrate the heavily armored dwarf. Meanwhile, the acid continues to burn the tengus skin.

Creepy as hell but essentially a person - time to burn out his eyes!

Garduk casts Color Spray at the shadow alchemist, angled toward the wall to avoid blinding his allies, and then takes a five-foot step back towards the door they entered through. He pops his wand of infernal healing out of his spring-loaded wrist sheath (yes, he has a wand shoved up each sleeve, and it is occasionally uncomfortable) so that he has it handy for next round.

"Youch!" Brayne cries as he is unexpectedly hit by acid. Upon seeing the commotion, he attempts to help out through his extraordinary abilities. He looks deeply at the creature with glowing black eyes. "Be gone!"

If the alchemists isn't defeated by my turn, I'll cast command to flee, DC15 will. If successful, I'll move to threaten. If not I'll move back towards the door.

Bokkah launches into the her attacks, hitting with her second claw. Brayne issues a command, but the the shadow person is able to ignore it. Garduk then casts color spray, but again the alchemist avoids the effects. But can't avoid Kulga shield slam, though she manages to stay on here feet.

Mattys try there vial magics on Mazzel Gol, you'll all be on my table soon! The alchemists shouts before attacking with two claws against Kulga and a bite for Bokkah. Managing to catch Kulga with a claw.

Garduk brings Horatio into the action, but he misses with his bite. Brayne steps in and also misses his bite. Finally, with the alchemist distracted by biting men and dogs, Kulga's shield slam takes down the foe. flanking bonus made that hit.

Garduk taps himself with his wand of infernal healing - carefully avoiding his acid burns - and mutters the command word (which sounds like "Fixmeup"). He offers to use the wand on any of the others who need it.

"Bokkah, were you going to take a look at the poor man on the slab to see if we can do anything for him?"

Garduk, although he is untrained, attempts to aid the warpriest's Heal check.

"Is that ... his spleen?" Garduk grabs his stomach and stumbled away from the table, then makes a show of searching the far side of the room, casting Detect Magic to in case there is anything he missed earlier.

No response to Brayne's inquiry, from the man who appears to be unconscious. He lays splayed on the operating table, his lower torso dissected and his skin held open and taught with large clamps. His forehead sports a dark rune tattoo that seems to suck light toward it.

The sight of it is too much for Garduk, who has to look away and instead searches the room further.

Garduk expects to find a formula book but it doesn't seem to be around, instead he does find another book. The book is finely bound with intricately stitched leatherwork, with the title Umbral Leaves is buried under a pile of bloody rags.

In addition, some paperwork on the material plane side is for the recently acquired Tian exhibit, apparently gifted to the museum by a donor named Amara Li on behalf of the Lantern Lodge of Goka. The alchemical apparatuses and medical implements are largely old and
poorly cared for. No other magical auras are detected.

@GM: I think I made a reflex save for half damage that I didn't get credit for. Or I misunderstood what happened. :) Not going to use a wand charge if I'm only 1 HP down but I will if I'm still down 5.

As the man's wounds close, Garduk drifts nearer so that he can hear the conversation while he pages through Umbral Leaves, trying to glean some sense of why the book was hidden in such an unlikely spot.

The Umbral Leaves is the grisly and unholy book of the god Zon-Kuthon, the Midnight Lord, god of pain and torture, where the tenets and laws of his faith are detailed.

Garduk takes a quick glance and the book seems to contain writings on torture and cruel rituals.

The man struggles to communicate obviously still in great pain. Zelius, I..uhhh..bought by the Blakros family brought here. He spits out between wretches.

The fewer copies of this left laying about, the better. The Dark Archive can earn its name, bury this in the most remote and restricted stacks.

He steps closer to Zelius and taps him with the wand of infernal healing to help with his remaining injuries, both because it seems like the right thing and because Zelius might be able to give them more information if he is less distracted by pain.

Turning to his comrades, he says, "Do any of you remember being told about the Blakros family leaving slaves here to be tortured? I remember being told about the two daughters, but I think I'd recall hearing about another HALF-DOZEN people who were left here to be taken to this nightmare world. And I don't."
