Well, in Golarion, Drow aren't just hated, they are pretty much all evil.

There are no good drow there. None. And you can count the number of neutral ones on one hand.

So there's that.

Also, holy thread necromancy, Robin!

Well, I'm guilty of thread necromancy, recently even, but because this is fun to say ...

RISE FROM YOUR GRAVE!

Well the wierd thing is. IF you raise an old thread people get annoyed. If you make a duplicate thread of an old thread people get annoyed. It is a lose lose.

It's a great archetype but there are too many siege feats that would have to be changed.
Why change them, just don't allow those feats. They were in addition to the normal feats gunslingers choose from anyway.

It's been years, why hasn't there been a satisfying answer to this? As stated in some other threads, there've been classes that have had feat options disallowed without replacement (Arcanist?). I doubt anyone would complain about not having access to feats that have never been pfs legal, especially when the class still has so many other feat options.

Unless the problem with it isn't actually the feat selection options?
I'm new to Pathfinder, and Pathfinder Society play, but considering how many of the pfs rules have exceptions to them (like being able to have an advanced firearm thanks to a particular chronicle sheet), I honestly don't see any reason Buccaneer shouldn't be allowed. With or without the option of choosing Siege feats, the archetype is no more or less powerful than many of the others I've seen.
So can we get an appeal or something? The Buccaneers' Liquid Courage is literally my favourite class ability and it's a shame to waste it.

"Hey everyone, Buccaneer is now pfs legal. You just don't get its Bonus Feat class option. Happy drinking!"
