Hagspawn Conversion help

Conversions

Im trying to make a balanced hagspawn conversion more inline with the other races in Pathfinder. Though i am drawing inspiration from the forgotten realms version this will be more for a Scarred lands setting though should be playable in either setting.

The original hagspawn have the following traits..

Hagspawn have the following abilities and characteristics.
• +2 Strength, +2 Constitution, –2 Charisma: Hagspawn are
strong and hardy, but are sullen and ill-tempered.
• Medium-size.
• Land speed 30 feet.
• Monstrous Humanoid: Hagspawn are not subject to spells
or effects that affect only humanoids, such as charm person
or dominate person.
• Darkvision: Hagspawn can see in the dark up to 60 feet.
• Natural Armor: +2 natural armor bonus.
• Spell resistance of 11 + character level.
• Automatic Languages: Common, Giant. Bonus Languages:
By character region.

Proposed changes

+2 Str, +2 (some mental stat) -2 Charisma

Type: Humanoid (hag)

Natural Armor: reduced to +1

Spell Resistance: 5 + Character level

That puts them on par i think with Commoner drow.

Any other suggestions?

Note that hags are monstrous humanoids in general so you would introduce hag humanoid subtype that is not an actual hag. Keeping them monstrous humanoids will be similar in power to being native outsiders is for tieflings - immunity to humanoid-affecting effects.

I'd keep the existing ability scores - Strength and Constitution is quite strong combination it is not a true game breaker. Reduction of natural armor and spell resistance looks good.

Kinda like half orcs still counting as orcs. Humanoids not that far a stretch i think for monsterous humanoid. Just kinda picked that for balance reasons.

Might want to check out the Changeling playable race, which was introduced to Pathfinder in the first Carrion Crown adventure path. You are essentially the posterity of one of the three types of hags.

Changelings are of the same descent as Hagspawn, but the primary difference that Changeling is always female (IIRC) that is hag larval form with potential of growing into fullly blown hag. Hagspawn is (IIRC) male descendant of a hag that will never grow into hag and is in many ways closer to an ogre or similar brutish humanoid. These two races are quite different in their outlook and theme as well as actual capabilities.

Looks similar. Might be a bit to charisma-ish for either scarredlands or forgotten realms though.

Silver Crusade

I would ditto the Changling suggestion. As Drejk rightly points out the way they are written they are all female but that is color text and color text is easy to rewrite or ignore as needed. After all, the drow color text is that they are all evil there are all sorts of non-evil drow characters running around out there.

i dint think the comely changeling fits the mutant spawn of mormos magical potion. So i opted for something more monstrous and with uglier stats. I may nab the unique racial traits and make up a few more for the other types of hags. If you prefer Changelings than go for it i just personally didn't agree with that particular race.
