I like it, though the price is a bit of a sore spot in my opinion...
The main amazing thing that Lonewolf did with Hero Labs is to provide the tools to enter any of the Pathfinder books in to the software itself. It does not require purchase of any of the add-ons if you would rather not pay for them. But it would require your time and patience to do so as on your own it will take a while then to do so.
They give you the tools and such, but what you are paying for with the add-ons is not the books and the like but their time and efforts so that we do not have to enter the data ourselves. All the books and their perspective data can be entered yourself so the price is the cost of their time and how much you think your time is worth? If you think that your time is valuable and would rather not take the time to enter the data from all the pathfinder books then paying for the books/data is well worth the price. If you think that your time and effort can be covered by the cost you have already put out.. then you too can enter the data :)
