Hellknight and Paladin fusion? Seems legit

So the idea struck me to fuse a hellknight and a paladin for a character...

In other words, level up in paladin to eventually get access to the Hellknight prestige class (PFS btw.). What are people's thoughts on this?

A Paladin needs to be lawful good, a Hellknight needs to be Lawful anything. I'm thinking the order of the nail

I have a paladin in PFS that has hellknight aspirations as well, although he was going to go for Order of the Godclaw for that sexy Travel Domain.

A capable knight to be sure. And a valuable representative of Cheliax to the world. If only the rest of the Pathfinder Society could be persuaded to see such wisdom.

Forgot to mention, but his current patron god is Abadar, so I think going from a warrior of the God of Cities and Civilization to a hellknight promoting the welfare of both of these things could work quite well.

Of course, the Pathfinder Society creed will never mesh entirely with the Paladin or Hellknight codes, but that is a small price to pay in order to be worthy of the titles.
