Origins 2012 Schedule?

Dark Archive 4/5

As Gama seems to be imploding, can anyone with Paizo list the events that Paizo plans to run at Origins Game Fair 2012? I'd like to try and make a schedule with some friends to do PFS adventures at Origins, and as it seems like it's going to be a generic only mess / rush, I'd like to try and see what I can get in to play.
Thanks!

I'll just note that this year has been no different from the past few, as far as GAMA being very slow at getting event registration up. The same folks at GAMA who work on Origins also work on the GAMA Trade Show in March, and the impression I've gotten is that they only start work on Origins events once they finish up GTS.

Personal experience suggests that event registration will happen in early May. Yes, it's only a few weeks before the con. I try to not stress too much about it. :-P

I will confirm what Mike said has been my experience as well. One might think that Origins ranks with GenCon when it comes to gaming, but the state of organization is apples to oranges.

Afternoon,

Guys, as a Society player myself (yes my Inquisitor rocks!) please do not be concerned about the pathfinder events (or any other RPG events) at Origins this year.

We have expanded the Pathfinder Room and are very excited about the special!

It is true, I have a strong comittment that I will not post events until we have all the sponsors events in the system.

We should have events posted and available next week. The biggest hold up is actually me, since I am the one that keeps adding "stuff" into the event grid to make the show better.

Thanks for all your support and patience. We are going to have another great show!

We are currently working with GAMA to finalize everything. I will be meeting with them tomorrow to discuss the rooms and events.

Skip,, Mike, you should know better than that we should be on top of this. While GAMA hasn't released the schedule as yet, we have been working on things since November. Art put forward the initial offerings and our schedule, I have been rounding up judges, Mike has been filling in the spaces and setting up logistics.

Skip, will you be voulenteering to judge? Mike, you still involved with LSJ?they put forward their schedule as well. Imploding? More like exploding!

David, I wont be judging this year, as Origins is my fun con, and Gen Con I will be returning to the judge pool for the RPGA, as I have two modules premiering around that time for LFR.

I just couldnt find a schedule for what was playing when, similar to what Dave has, and I wanted to base my time around both LFR and Pathfinder.

Also, John Ward, I apologize, I made an over exertion without knowing everything and that was wrong of me, I apologize to you, and thank you for your hard work. I've attempted to contact events etc to find out when things would be available, but to no avail, and no answer for five inquiries over 5 weeks.

Hi,

This is my first year at Origins and if anyone still has a spot in their room (day bed or even on the floor), I could use something for Friday night. I'm hoping someone in the PFS community will be friendly enough to share with a fellow PFSer.

Also, I booked a room at the Hyatt Regency for Wednesday and Thursday nights (May 30-31), if anyone wants to share the room it has 2 double beds. Also, if you just want a day bed (I'd have to call ahead for it) or floor space, I'd be open to that as well.

Regards,

Jason

Prize Support just got much more awesome for Origins. But, I will leave it to David and Michael if they wish to spoil it or save it :-)

You're going to need more than one.

I'm still looking for a roommate for Wed/Thurs night. I have the Hyatt and I'm only going to charge $40 (actual cost is around $70 each). You get your own double bed. And there is space for others, I have no problem with that.

It's a good deal, if anyone is interested let me know before Tuesday night.

I also have an available hotel room (double) for 5/28 (Monday) through 5/31 (Thursday). Any of those nights work. I'm asking for $30 (which is a touch less than half of what I paid). It's about a 15 minute drive from the convention center, and I can carpool with folks if our schedules line up.

Please hit me up on the private message if you are interested. Thanks!
