I feel bad for derailing the happy vibe, but I've just done something horrible.
I was chatting with my friend, the one who thinks of me as a brother(D from now on), and he asked my what was wrong. I eventually told him he was the reason I was feeling bad. He told me he'd always be there, but I just had to continue. I told him I never got a chance. He replied with "Because I see you as a brother."
I reminded him that he knew how and I felt and he told me he had forgotten. It hurt so much. I told him that I now knew how he felt everytime I watched him hurting. He was surprised. D changed his status message to "im sorry" and went offline.
I swore I'd never be one of the people that hurt him, and now I have. I love him, and now I think I've lost him. Gods above I wish I could take it back.

Nice! I think that is cool, even though I myself now hate texting, something I realized even before my phone became possessed by demons and had to be destroyed for the good of mankind.

When I was in a similarly frustrating circumstance awhile ago this song captured my feelings pretty well: Fleetwood Mac: Go your own way.
So this actually happened awhile ago but I just haven’t really felt like bringing it up but I’m bored right now so what the hell.
So I ended up seeing my friend’s sister again when my friend and I and a couple of other people where hanging out at his house and she came downstairs from her room and started hanging out too. She kept trying to talk to me specifically in the group setting and was saying humorous things and the like but while I was acknowledging her I wasn’t really engaging her so when my friends were going out for food she asked me to stay and talk to her, which I did.
She was basically confused about why I wasn’t interacting with her and I was like: because you specifically asked me not too when I come over. To which she had a: you actually listen to what I say? Don’t be silly now!
Hmmm, alright. *shrug*
We ended up having a pretty good conversation after that and she even started up the flirting all over again, but, deciding to test my emotional space bubble theory I didn’t ask her any direct questions about her feelings or talk about mine and sure enough our interaction didn’t go south for the first time ever. When I left I feel like she felt that that had been our best interaction ever but on my side I was just feeling…I dunno, vaguely dissatisfied, I guess.
I have always been very good at the social dancing people always want to engage in when feeling out a person they are interested in and I enjoy it but a large part of that enjoyment is based on the idea that progress will eventually be made, on an emotional and/or intellectual connection level. Having large swathes of subjects that are taboo to speak of and more importantly not being able to address important things like expectations and perceptions when they are obviously causing issues makes it difficult to feel like there is much mobility here.
I’ve seen her several times since then and it has gone well but I’m kinda lost about how exactly I should respond to her renewed interest…oh well, I am a people pleaser in the end so I will prolly just keep letting her have the control and space she wants and just see if it goes anywhere, maybe once she reaches a certain level of being comfortable she will open up more and communicate better.

Heh, yep, funny thing is she is by far not the only person to do that to me in my life.
It is often one of those: “I can’t believe you took me seriously!” and I’m like “Oh, I must have misunderstood, I didn’t realize you were joking.” And they are like “I wasn’t joking at all, I was being dead serious, I’m just surprised you took it that way!”
….ok…I feel like one of us here is very confused about what is happening between us, but I’m honestly not sure who.
I have zero patience for those games. That sort of thing would probably mark the end of my interest in that person.
Hehe, I would agree with you except that in my experience it isn’t even game playing, just a symptom of the fact that the person is completely out of their mind but if I decided to kick everyone I know who is violently insane out of my life I would be left completely alone=)

On Wednesday, I took over the fake Facebook account my friends made for me behind my back and promptly stripped it of all the things they liked, posted, etc.

My friends in the FAWTL thread made a Facebook account for me. It is filled with some of the most egregious lies about me that I have ever heard. My wife and the other players of my Darklight Sisterhood game immediately favorited the page(or what have you). I have yet to forgive them.
In this lull between relationship dramas (I kid because I love...to kid.) is anybody youtube-obsessed? I think I'm starting to get there. I used to never use the site except to find specific videos.
Then I found Marble Hornets. (These are all channel names, by the way.)

Two days ago I realized that years after I stopped watching TV as part of my daily ritual and rarely turn it on except for specific programs, I have replaced TV with youtube.
