So I called the VA and they won't prescribe anything without seeing me. I expected that. I just established care and the prescribers aren't familiar with me yet.
I have some appointments coming up, but the first one is 5/23. That's still almost 2 weeks out.
I'm going to get through this. I just don't like being in a waiting pattern.

Thanks. I'm mostly worried about rent and utilities. I can deal with everything else. All the help with bills are reactionary. They want you to have a disconnect or pay-or-vacate notice before they help. I don't like waiting until then. I want to avoid that in the first place.

We're here to help you manage. I'm so impressed with your ability to keep moving forward. I often get stuck
I can't stay stagnant. My brain needs answers. I can't live if I can't figure this out. I don't have a backup plan. It's just me and the kindness of others.
John, don't feel pressured into it. While I appreciate it, you don't have to feel obligated and put yourself in a tough situation.

I am not unfortanetly I would have to leave my dad alone for too long.
I want to go, but I don't know if I will be able to. Even if I can find the money, I don't know if I will be able to walk around with all this dizziness.
One year I will go...but sadly not this year. :(
We should create a "thread reunion" event next year or the year after so all of us can scheme and save and get ourselves there.

Well I'll for sure be there driving 16 hours starting Tuesday afternoon when I wake up from night shifts, then staying till the following Tuesday evening so I'm game to meet up or get an impromptu game going or just sit around have a drink and shoot the breeze, Also freehold if I can help I'll do my best to help you out with what it is

Me! It'll be my first PaizoCon and something of a gaming last hurrah for the next 4 years with gaming and freelancing taking a hiatus (back to school for a career change) with some wiggle room on the writing if certain topics are offered.
I'll be running and playing virtually the whole trip, but feel free to say hi, introduce yourself, chatter, etc if you see me. Hopefully I won't be too antisocial :)

While I'm lucky enough not to be in that situation, my heart goes out to those who are.
On an unrelated note, one of the web comics I follow called Assigned Male is getting harassed on its FaceBook page by individuals who are either alt-right or just ****-posting extreme alt-right stances on sexuality and gender identification. This (among other things, but this was the straw that broke the camel's back as it were) has me livid at humanity in general and leaves me wanting to declare WH40K-style exterminatus on this speck. Fortunately, that's not possible. Sharing my frustration has taken the edge off of my rage though and I'm calming down to more rational thought.
