Have a look at this thread and try contacting heretic.
While I'm the V-C for the UK I don't have much knowledge of things in Ireland but might be able to get some info/contacts for you.

I was wondering if there are any Pathfinder Society games going on in Ireland?

Hi there. Not much going on in Dublin when I was down a Gaelcon last October. I did run a few sessions there and I will ask if anyone has done any since.
If you can make it up to Belfast, with a little notice I will sort out a game for you. There will also be PFS at QCON in June.
We have our monthly PFS session this coming Saturday (21st April) with the next one planned for 12th May. After that QCON.
Feel free to PM me.
Best Regards

Also, starting up PFS play in an urban area with at least a few game stores is much easier than most people think. I asked the same question about this time last year, and there were none in Toronto.
Since then (and I suspect largely because I asked) we've grown to ~6 tables a week across two locations, and I've been made Venture Lieutenant.
If you've got the interest and about an hour of spare time (on top of what you want to spend playing or GMing) you can try to get a game started yourself. Any of the Venture-Officers would be happy to help you (Though David, as the closest geographically, is probably the logical choice.)

Yes, I'm certainly happy to help in any way I can.
I know that game stores are few and far between this side of the Atlantic (there's only a few in London, for instance) and they seldom have enough space to allow for gaming but there are pubs, halls, etc that can be used.heretic Venture-Captain, Ireland—Belfast |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |
There is at least one rather good games shop in Dublins fair city with a bit of space: Gamers World in Jervis Street. They have space for games, though mainly wargames and CCGs, I did see an RPG there once.
I have been slowly pushing PFS here in Northern Ireland and there are a couple of shops where we can play but Dave is right, games shops are rare, shops when you can swing a cat let alone run a game, rarer still!
Anyway : All you southern gentlemen and ladies: if you want a game get yourselves up north for a games day or Q-Con and hopefully we can build enough people for a southern branch! I am happy to act as a point of contact too, so if you are Dublin (or just Irish) gamer looking for a game and can't make it up north send me you details and when we have enough I will come down and run a game.

P.S. Of course going across the water to Dave's PaizoCon UK is way for an Irish gamer to get some excellent PFS and visit the almost inevitable relatives so many of us have in Birmingham!

Hi, I am based in North London and am hoping to join a local pathfinder game? Can you recommend anything?
I have played DandD awhile and have quite a lot of Dming experience and hope to set up my own small group one day but would really like to get to grips with the pathfinder system as a player.
Any help appreciated.

Hi,
Best way to contact me is via paizoconuk@hotmail.com and let me know whereabouts in North London you are. There are a couple of threads for UK players and London players on these boards and on the UK Roleplayers website that may be worth a look.
