I admit I know very little Italian. It's the fact that it was a sexual allusion would've been something I've picked up on and make use of it in subtle conversation to amuse myself w/o making the non-enlightened aware. :)
Just copy and paste "palpatine" "palpare" or "palpeggiare" in google tranlator (from italian to english) and see what results it gives
