Looking to min/max conversion inquisitior with ranged atk for the Serpent's Skull adventure path. My stats are the following:

16 to wisdom. Swamp or other channel providing domain, channel smite, guided hand, worship god with bow as favored weapon.

What book is the Swamp domain listed in? guided hand?

Swamp domain is in ultimate magic. Guided hand is a feat that allows you to use your wisdom mod for attack rolls with your god's favored weapon.

The aquatic, and arctic domain can give you the channel you need as well.

I think you won't be able to use the Channel smite feat with the Swamp Domain, as the channel granting abilities states that "You can take other feats to add to this ability, such as Extra Channel, but not feats that alter this ability, such as Elemental Channel and Alignment Channel."

The channel smite feat is more of a tax feat for guided hand.

Even. It states you cannot take the feat, meaning, I guess, you don't even qualify for it.

Channel energy is channel energy, and meets the requirements for this feat.

I don't even think it meets the requirement for channel smite. The class feature you gain is Natural Healing, not Channel Energy.

Even if it did, Channel Smite alters the way Channel Energy works - it doesn't add to it, in the way that Extra Channel does. As such, the swamp domain specifically forbids taking Channel Smite.

The "You can channel energy" part seems to indicate that it is channel energy. The Channel Smite feat does not seem to be a feat like Elemental Channel or Alignment Channel feat, which is explicitly called out as unavailable.

No, I really think you got that one wrong. Elemental Channel and Alignment Channel are given as example of the feats you don't qualify for, meaning "feats that alter this ability."

Channel smite does alter the channel ability, so you do not qualify for it.
