Who remembers this fun action series from Hanna-barbera in the early 90's?

hell yeah i loved that show. its partialy the reason i joined the air force. the other reason was tailspin

*raises hand*

I used to say "eject" before unbuckling my seat belt because they did. :)

I loved it. I "designed" all sorts of utility missiles for the Turbokat. I was a huge nerd, even in elementary school.

I saw that serie in cartoon network latino and i really liked it.
Maybe i am getting old but in these days the new series are just boring

I loved this cartoon when I was younger(and still do) wish it lasted longer.

At least this one got a complete DVD release.

Yup, I loved that show! I used to draw all kinds of modifications and stuff for the Turbokat when I was a kid.

Those guitar rifts in intro music... I miss them.

I still see re-runs of it on Boomerang or some cable channel like that occasionally.

I miss cartoons having guitar rifts in there intros...i miss cartoons having intros.

I miss cartoons that existed for entertainment only....

What cartoons don't have intros these days? I can't think of anything my son watches that doesn't.

I watch Phineas and Ferb (with him) and Young Justice (with his mother) and both of those shows have intros, though the latter's is pretty basic.

Most of thsoe shows have intros that 30 seconds or less.

The new thundercats cartoon didn't even get an intro.

I'll give you the new Thundercats.

You Tube tells me Phineas and Ferb's intro is 57 seconds.

Young Justice gets just 22 seconds, though, so you've got me there.

Checked some classic cartoons (for me, anyway) like Animaniacs, Batman the Animated Series, Swat Kats, TMNT and they were all around 60 to 70 seconds.

It seems like now days cartoons aimed towards younger kids get longer intros while ones aimed towards older kids/adults have shorter ones or none.

The current Avengers cartoon and Avatar the Last Airbender kind of split the difference at 47 seconds.

While I enjoy a good intro, with current commercial loads, I'll take an extra 30 seconds of story over an extra 30 seconds of intro. (Of course, we're probably just getting an extra 30 seconds of commercials.)

Yes but the new thundercats deserved a new intro especially when the original had one of the best ones in my opinion.

what is/are your favorite episode or episodes of the Swat Kats?

There were a lot that I really like but ones that come to mind are the giant mummys, the guy made of crystal, the evil jester one, many of the Matallicats episodes(especially the with the machine that fuses with other machines), and Dr Viper turning the city into a swamp come to mind.
