I was just thinking of trying to run a PF PbP inspired to IWD (1 or 2 doesn't matter for now).
The only problems would be balancing the difficulty, you cannot expect to have the amount of combat of the game. And you cannot rest that often.
More, i have the time now to run one game, but cannot be sure of how long it'll last, and i already had to drop two games i was running the last year because of RL commitments.
Would'nt like to upset people.

Well, you can always work on the adventure in your spare time, and if things get quiet, you can run later. I doubt the potential pool of players is going to disappear anytime soon.
You would have to scale back the number of encounters a little--if for any reason, just to keep it from being monotonous. But you could also replace them with other challenges that the computer game mechanics couldn't handle at the time -- provide uses for skills and creative play that you just can't do in a computer RPG, especially of that era.
And remember that Pathfinder characters are a LOT more resilient than AD&D characters. Pathfinder characters have max HP at first level, and they don't die at 0 HP, they die at negative Constitution score. They have options like Toughness and bonus HP from favored class, AND you get bonuses to HP starting at a lower Constitution score. Further, healing is a LOT more accessible with channel energy, spontaneous cleric healing, and bards getting cure spells. Playing through the 1st IWD right now and part of why I rest as often as I do is just to recharge my clerics' healing spells--I can never seem to have enough!
You probably would not have to lower the difficulty of the fights that you leave in (if not actually increase them, depending on the fight).

There aren't too many of them, but I think the best place to start is here.
I'd recommend checking out the Infinity Engine Modlist instead - it compiles mods created for all the IE games (Baldur's Gate 1&2, Icewind Dale 1&2, Planescape: Torment) from various modding sites.
http://modlist.pocketplane.net/index.php?ax=list&cat_id=14 - here's the link to their Icewind Dale 2 section, among the more interesting mods there is the NPC project that lets you play a single character with a party of five NPCs in the same style as Baldur's Gate. The Widescreen mod is also nice, it lets you play the game at whatever resolution your screen is set to. :-)

I am about to start that game, but I have not played in over almost 10 years. What favored enemies are good to choose for the end of the game?
I think the most common ones were evil outsiders and humans, but check here:

I was thinking about buying this game b/c it IS turn based and 3.5/D&D. It would be great if someone came out with a bunch of Baldurs Gate, Temple of Elemetal Evil style RPG's. You could import your PC to other games, like modules from D&D or Dungeon magazine style adventures. Man I would be a subscriber of that! BUT IT MUST BE TURN BASED!!
