Obtaining new spells for the Witch

So, two simple questions:

1) Can a witch learn (not use) spells from an arcane scroll?

2) If so, can (s)he learn spells that are not on her class spell list?

1) Yes. You need to roll a Spellcraft check of 15 + spell level. The scroll is consumed and basically fed to your familiar. You loser the scroll even if you fail to learn the spell.

2) No, the spells must be on the witches spell list.
