I ran the free download and the first two modules before a TPK destroyed that campaign in the tomb of that Chardun-worshipping wizard (don't recall name).
One thing that I seem to remember not working as written:
The TPK came about through a combination of factors--1) the party didn't use the "re-setting" traps in the vault as well as they might have; 2) player inebriation; and, 3) that hot sexy naked face stealer in the mirror! Watch out for that hussy!
I was terribly disappointed that I never got to run the third module. That shiznit was epic!

I love the Scarred Lands. That world hooked me. (the only reason I got back into D&D) So I,m always happy when I see people still playing in there. Hahahaha I was the drunken player Doodlebug made mention of. Alas I am not a GM and only a lowly player. But Hell ya rocking in Scarn
Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have run the serpent amorpha as part of my snake themed campaign.
I used a combination of serpent amphora, freeport, and the forgotten realms setting in the area of Halruua and the Jungles of Chult.
I thought it worked very well my players seemed to like it but unfortunately RL got in the way when I had to move.

Well last night went pretty well. However, I already have some trouble shooting to do.
