Aroden's church was also essentially the state religion of Taldor and Cheliax, two of the biggest empires the Inner Sea has ever known.

And there are bound to be some... let's call them "parties of interest" who might like to see it restored (or at least developed into another piece on the chessboard... even a pawn is useful material in larger stratagem). (my take)

You mean ol' "Echo of Lost Divinity", who looks, sounds, feels, and in all other ways is like an incorporeal Aroden and just happened to appear and being serving Pharasma shortly after Aroden's death? Never heard of 'im.

... at least, so I'd imagine, if I were imagining such things, which I'm not saying I am, as I've never heard of this particular creature. :)
