Archers and the Rapid Shot feat.

Rules Questions

I am trying to locate a particular piece of information that I am sure I have read in the rules somewhere. It states something along the line of "..if the player has chosen the archery route, he is considered to have gained the Rapid Shot feat automatically.."

Anyone else who recognizes this and can help me find it?

No such rule exists, though rangers may select it as a bonus feat if they choose archery as their combat style and may ignore prerequisites.

Is it from an archetype? That sounds like something really stupid and I've never heard of it before.

Fighter (Archer) doesn't get Rapid Shot automatically and neither do Rangers with Archery combat style.

You may be thinking of the 3.5 archery ranger but thats the only one i can think of.
