I can see the Paladin and Bard levels. Why is he a Monk? Is it his ability to evade?

Naah, man. Running, and knocking people down.

Plus the initial hazing haircut.

Go to "google news." Type "ti" and his name comes up.

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet.

Me too; because I'm wondering where Big Mac is.

It's kinda rude for him to ignore this thread when I'm just doing it to troll his Tebowhatin' ass.

I am thinking fighter. Why does a dude giving a small gesture of praise to his god equal him being a paladin?
Dex based fighter with dodge, mobility etc...and under deity on his character sheet he has something written.

Nice!

I just had a family get together last night with my sister-in-law's whole family showing up in Tebow jerseys and doing his "move" but the whole group couldn't show a bit of interest in my family's desire to put God into the season of Christmas.....very tiresome to watch hypocrisy in action.
Also A+ on the awesome word!!! I will be looking for ways to use that more in conversations....it'll be my new "Psychopathetic".

I just couldn't think up how to spell the word I was trying to spell, then realized that it was the wrong word anyway's, so then I decided to make the broken play (into a play-on-words) into an epic win anyhow.

Sorry to hear that......
my kids have Tebow jerseys; I grew up in Gainesville, Fla so I'm a Bronco's fan by proxy now.

Also, just to add in there...I am a Tebow fan also. I just don't like how many people are idolizing him but not taking in his beliefs. Not his fault, just an example of society generally deifying someone and making them more important than the beliefs the idol is trying to put out there for people to take in. It would be nice if the fans all respected his beliefs instead of empty emulation of them. guess I am just disappointed with society in general and not seeing enough good lately. Sorry to be a downer.

Not at all, man.

I've been trying to think of something deep to say, but......all I can come up with is......he ain't done yet, man.

No.

Just say Teb-NO.

Tim tebow has got to be one of the greatest human beings on this planet. Man does his work, reveres his faith, takes time out to speak with kids with terrible illness...I can't believe people would disparage him for virtually anything he does. Peter King, of SI.com talked at length about his massive heart in one of his articles. Super good read.

Tebow's a level 8 fighter. Mostly because of bravery. Only 8 because he still has a long way to go - but he knows it, too.

Does he loose his paladin and monk levels if starts juicing?

I looked at his wikipedia.

Just says he's good at sport.

What got him the praise?

Nevermind his beliefs, i'm from New England; if he's a pally, what's that make the Patriots?!

It's just jousting; not real warfare.

Oakland Raiders are chaotic neutral though.

He's a second year Pro quarterback, inherited a losing season, won 5 or 6 games in a row at the very end of the games, many games that should have been lost by all means, and he's just awesome.

Plus, most quarterbacks aren't monsters, and when they run they try to slide before they get decimated by the defensive monsters, but Tebow smashes into them to get one or two more yards, or when he does duck out of a hit, he kinda gets mad that he didn't get to clash with the monsters. He's just awesome. And a lot of people think he shouldn't be quarterback and have been saying he won't cut it, so it's fun for me.

If I happen to go to Google News and type in "ti" his name comes up first. THAT'S how much everybody's talking about him.

Plus he's really religions; he constantly prays through the game, so that's kinda ruffling feathers--people get tired of him talking about Jesus all the time.

And he doesn't throw that well, but he gets everybody believing they can win; it's just fun to watch. It's just a trip that he's not only there, but winning. The whole season is unwinding like a Rocky formula movie, and he was quarterback for the football team of the school where I went to college, and one of the best college football players ever, and maybe the greatest 2 or 3 players on the Gators ever, so I'm a rabid fan and enjoying the whole thing.

See, in college, he played Kentucky one time......
he had the flu, so he was prone to being sick,
then he got a concussion, and was out of the game, but he's still by the sideline trying to root his team on to victory, and throwing up from the flu, and (I'm pretty sure) the coach had to have his parents come down out of the stands and actually ORDER him to go to get checked out. And I think they had to order him and quote the commandment about "honoring thy father and thy mother" before he'd acquiesce. Heck, he still wanted to play......
He won't quit. He just won't quit.

Unlike some other, more well known big name athletes, he also hasn't assaulted any women (twice), killed any helpless dogs, or smoked any cocaine, whine about being drafted to a team he didn't want to play for, tested positive for steroids, been involved in shooting incidents...

Yeah; it's like your kid can look up to him or something.

His parents are missionaries, and he was born in the Philippines; one summer when he was doing missionary work he invited his College Football Coach along, who brought his whole family to go do missionary work in the Philippines. I don't think he's driving around, hootin and hollerin and shooting guns in the air ever.

Their big game with the Pat's (which they lost) was coming up; they just won and the team wanted to go celebrate, but he had to go start immediately preparing to play the Patriots. They have one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, (and Aaron Hernandez....GO GATORS!!!!) and sorry if I left anybody out; Tebow knows who they all are because he studies film........so he had to buckle down and get ready for the game.

If it wasn't for that whole playing a child's game for a profession thing, I might agree.

So I should stop looking up to Richard Pett then.....

Had to google that. So I'd say no, because designing a game for a living takes a whole lot more intellect than playing for a living. I have marginal respect for, for example, pro Magic players, though largely because I know a few.

Clearly you disagree, but I find football to be not so much a thinker's game as a brute's game. And boring. I would not encourage my children *scoff* to look up to someone like TT for many reasons, this is just one of them. Enumerating the rest of the reasons means taking this thread down a road not intended.

TL;DR- LOL football is dumb.

This is Dungeons and Dragons, not Rifts.

Or....Pathfinder or whatever.....

Bravo to Tim Tebow for many reasons such as graduating with a degree (family, youth and community sciences) in three and a half years (while playing football which is taxing in and of itself) and doing an enormous amount of philanthropic work such as getting a children's hospital built in the Phillippines among other things.

One of the VERY few pro athletes/"celebrities" that I actually respect. I'd like to meet the man and shake his hand, and I detest football.
