Companion Cache feat?

Product Discussion

Anyone know whether it's the master or the familiar which gets to access the stored spells through the companion cache feat? If the master, does he have to be in contact with the familiar?

The master gets them. It's basically a ring of spell storing in your critter.

I do see the ambiguity, and I will check it out.

Thanks for the reply. I don't see anything in the link you posted that would clarify the matter though.

It's certainly an intriguing though ambiguous feat. If it were to work exactly like a ring of spell storing, then anyone who has a free ring body-slot available and who has the familiar in hand could freely cast the spells stored therein; even the familiar itself I suppose since it's sentient. Somehow that doesn't sound quite right, but that's the way the feat is written.

The intention was that the master or familiar could use the spells.

Ah. That'd clarify the RAI. Thanks.
