My 14th level dragon shaman is saving up for a big purchase. He really likes his Ring of the Ram, but it's running out of charges. I was planning on upgrading to a Ring of Telekinesis, which is 75,000 gp, but then I thought of ordering a custom Staff of Force (telekinesis, maximized toppling magic missile (I hate rolling d4s!)).
Which would be better? Are there some other fun telekineticky (is that a word?) spells that would fit the theme of the Staff of Force?
My gnome dragon shaman's schtickt is repositioning opponents. He has boots of stomping (15 foot cone of tripping), ring of the ram (ranged bull rush touch attack), and bracers of repulsion (swift action 10 foot radius targets opponents with Fort save or pushed back 5 feet).
The DM usually has adequately complex terrain for fun maneuvering, and an ally can cast wall of magma and lingering fireballs, and I also have a staff of fire.

Ring of Telekinesis is expensive, but don't forget it has no use limit. You can use telekinesis each and every single round (six times per minute) for 24 hours straight with one! A staff will be cheaper, but it will only have 10 charges. Of course, you are limited to the caster level of 9 with the ring (225 lbs) and you aren't with the staff. Still, you only gain another 150 lbs by 15th level when the spell caps.
I'd go with the RoT if you can afford it. That way, your gnome Dragon Shaman can do a really good impression of Darth Vader! Good times indeed.

+1 if you are going to use it a lot
-1 if you are using it sporadicallyYou can also cheaply recharge the staff and it doesn't soak up a ring slot

Some of the "hand" spells, like interposing or forceful would fit that theme. An at will mage hand use that doesn't cost charges would be a thematic little add-on.
Telekinetic sphere would also fit the bill.

I mostly plan on using the TK to make combat maneuvers from range, so I'll want the highest caster level possible so the CMB is as high as possible. An advantage of the staff is that it uses the CL of my UMD check -20, which is pretty awesome usually (14 ranks + 3 class + 6 Charisma + 3 Circlet of Persuassion = +26 to the roll....and I may even have enough feats to get Skill Focus Use Magic Device at some point) plus my casting stat (Charisma +6) for the CMB.
The one good thing is the party is small (3 PCs, no NPCs) so we get above average cashy money. :-D

Create a staff with telekinesis and double the cost so it doesn't use charges.
Congratulations you have an unlimited use telekinetic effect (like the ring) but it upgrades with your caster level.
Expensive as hell, i'm sure, but you never need to upgrade it.
Also if you can afford it throw in some other charge use effects like telekinetic sphere and what not.
I'd also throw in emergency force shield, but that's because it's one of my favorite spells.

Can't recharge the staff if the spell isn't on his class list.

As long as atleast one of the spells in the staff is castable by the recharger he is free to charge it. From d20pfsrd:
Staves hold a maximum of 10 charges. Each spell cast from a staff consumes one or more charges. When a staff runs out of charges, it cannot be used until it is recharged. Each morning, when a spellcaster prepares spells or regains spell slots, he can also imbue one staff with a portion of his power so long as one or more of the spells cast by the staff is on his spell list and he is capable of casting at least one of the spells. Imbuing a staff with this power restores one charge to the staff, but the caster must forgo one prepared spell or spell slot of a level equal to the highest-level spell cast by the staff. For example, a 9th-level wizard with a staff of fire could imbue the staff with one charge per day by using up one of his 4th-level spells. A staff cannot gain more than one charge per day and a caster cannot imbue more than one staff per day.
I recommend adding atleast one spell from the druid list to the staff .. :)
Edit: Spellstaff might be appropriate

Emergency Force Shield is awesome!!!! I love immediate action spells! They make encounters very dynamic and fun!
And a Staff of Spellstaff? Genius!!! It would basically let me "borrow" a spell from the sorcerer or ranger.
Spellstaff only works for the spells a Druid can cast. And I would also only allow one spell to be stored on the staff in this way.

If telekinesis is not on the user's list using the staff will require a UMD roll per activation.
My 14th level Dragon Shaman has +26 on UMD (14 ranks + 3 class + 3 circlet of persuassion + 6 Charisma modifier).
And I'm considering Skill Focus UMD at 15th or 17th level. And Ability Focus (breath weapon) at 17th or 15th.
