All hail the Ruby Prince, and the Osirian faction, the true leader of factions within the sphere of APL. The usurpers have been thrown down, leaving the truly greatest lodge on top. Those displaced lantern lodge members feel free to join the Ruby Princes cause, for the Osirian nation is regaining it's power of old. Shadow lodge, you are reaping the rewards of your rebellion. Only those true of heart and truly repentant may find succor within the protecting arms of the great and powerful nation of Osiria.

OK folks, this means we will be needing to run multiple sessions of Way of the Kirin (closing scenario for LL ... tier 3-7, level your LL PCs to that range folks) as well as Rivalry's End (closing scenario for SL ... also tier 3-7).
We should send these factions off with honor and make sure folks with PCs in these factions have plenty of opportunity to get the special boon for playing the closing scenarios.

Well, time to start contemplating about which loser to join. I know I won't support any of them. Less fame and prestige for them is a good thing. The Lantern Lodge is the only worth while group to support. Maybe I'll go sabotage those cry baby Taldans. Or tear down the weak Sczarni. Just have to contemplate on it.
The only comfort is knowing that one of the nine factions that should be eliminated, will be done away with.

Way of the Kirin will not be released in time for Geekout... I had a full table of folks signed up to play it.
for the following players
Michael Tracey et all
Chris Hamilton
Richard Jones
Eric Ellis
Paul and I are trying to figure out an alternative that fits the Tian Xai Theme, but I am open to suggestions. It's your game gentlemen, and I'll do what I can to please my customers
EDITS: I looks as if I should refresh Warhorn before posting... The game will be Fabric of Reality, which I have played recently and it's a blast, so come sign up pretty please :)

Alright. Well I don't post much as I'm sure you can tell, but this is one of those times I feel it's needed.
Paizo.... Eat **** for ruining my favorite faction.
Galen.... Your fired. We've been running games for a long while now without need of being asked.
Andy.... Thank you for the support you've given Aly and myself lately it's been helpful with things going the way they are.
The rest of you.... I'm glad we have so many people playing in the lodge now on official Grand Lodge days and the Shadow Lodge days. It gets crazy and loud and is a fun thing to be apart of. Thank you all for making it fun to be a part of, be it GMing or playing.
See you guys this Friday ^_^

Do you really want me to hop into character against this one as well. ;)
Never planned on using pvp.

Oh, and Murder's Mark is up on Warhorn for the 27th. Tier 1-2 (it is the second level module for the Module Run).
I have decided to put a hard cap of 5 for the modules due to time limitations. Fewer folks will make the game go quicker (a 7 person table was definitely too much last week).
Yes 7 people is alot hense why we need a few more GMs. Step Right Up Still need anouther GM For Saturday 12 time slot seems we lost one Jason must have too work. LOL So if interested Holler at me.

GEEK OUT TIX FINALLY ON SALE!!!!
PLEASE note: if you're a GM running 3 or more games for us at GeekOut, please do NOT purchase a ticket. Your VIP pass will be comp'd.
That is all,
Paul

Alright peoples, we are getting close to GEEKOUT. If you need physical copies of the scenarios, we will have them on hand at the con. If you need a digital copy of the scenario prior to the con, let me know exactly which scenarios you need (private message works best), and I'll get it to you.
GMs are responsible for their rule books, minis, and maps. We will have pre-gens and blank sheets available at the con as well as chronicle sheets.
Questions? Email me.

My friend David Rose Retoucher and I are doing a Photo FX Studio Saturday at Geekout. We'll be doing greenscreen and photoshop onsite of all the cosplay folks Details here
But, for the lodge, I would like all the GM's running games to stop by between slots 1 and 2, (between 1PM and 2PM) as a group and I'll take a group shot in front of the green screen. Bring your Dice 'o Bludgeoning! We'll photoshop a dramatic background behind all the GM's for a "GMs of DOOM" portrait for the lodge!
Here's our banner for the event, but you can't upload an image here...

How many walk-ups do you guys expect to see for the PFS games? I was debating whether to switch my sign-up for Friday to a game with more players already at the table.
Would it be better to condense now or just wing it on the night of? As it is, I will be pressing the pedal to get there on the 8p dot.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Wing it. We'll see what happens with whomever shows up. And drive safely, we'll hold a spot for you.
Alright peoples, I have hammered out details regarding badges for GeekOut. There SHOULD BE someone from GeekOut Central who will be able to get us the badges on Friday night, but NEBBERDALESS (sound it out), we'll all be able to game in glorious fashion on Friday night at the Days Inn, and we'll be ordering late night Chinese delivery-style to complete the Lantern Lodge goodness.

my wife is traveling far from home, visiting relatives, and so she happens to be in Asheville this weekend.
(Sigh)
and I'm in St. Louis...
so, if you see her (Janet)- tell her "HI!" and make her feel welcome - she's doing her first CON without me by her side.
She'll be running either:
a Pregnant beer maid (Pregnant Aasamir Cleric of Cayden)
a Elven (Dwarf adopted) Witch (named "Headbanger")
an Elven Wizard named "Poog" (named after a goblin)
or something else that I've forgotten...

Thanks Chris - I know it's silly to worry about her, but she's very important to me.

She should have a good time of it. I just checked Warhorn and if it is the same Janet that's listed (could the one you forget be a rogue, perchance?), she's got some pretty good players and GMs at the tables she's at (though the Rogue/Rogue/Bard table could be interesting ... especially if we get another skill monkey into the mix.)

Yep, that's likely her. She's got a rogue (Elf archer, 7th or 8th level I think).
And thanks again!

Hey RainyDay. No worries about getting a ticket ahead of time. The door is good enough on Saturday, unless you plan on being there on Friday.
No, I won't be there until Saturday. But since the gaming apparently starts before the general convention, I wasn't sure if that would be an option.

Happy GEEKOUT Friday! Go look at the WARHORN to make sure that you're signed up for everything you want/need.
Ticket worries? Never fear; there (should/will) be someone from the official GeekOut squad at the hotel on Friday evening, ready to handle ticket and badge issues. Regardless, there will be no slowing of the gaming whether you have your badge on Friday night or not!
The hotel for the weekend is the Days Inn on Tunnel Rd. If you want to not miss a non-stop minute of all of the GeekOut action, you want to be staying here. Pet friendly! Hot breakfast! Games galore!
On Saturday morning, we will pack up shop and head to the Sherrill Center on the UNCA campus where the GeekOut Main Event will be held! Vendors, celebrities, geeks, and more! Want more info? Check it out!
We will return to the Days Inn on Saturday evening for late-nite Saturday gaming, as well as Sunday games to round out the weekend. Prizes and boons will be given away all weekend long - you've got to be there to win them!
I would be remiss if I did not send a big shout-out to those three peoples who have helped a ton with the logistics and planning for this event. QC, LUTH, and the awesome DC2 have been hugely helpful in planning what should be a massive weekend of gaming. Over 30 tables of PFS action planned! Watch out, DragonCon!!
Feel free to email me or FB me this weekend with any and all questions or issues. I will attempt to play some games myself this weekend, but YOU have no excuse! Go make a new friend; learn a new game; try a new character class out; meet one of our awesome visiting VOs (Del Collins, David Shaw). GeekOut is what you put into it, and if that's true, this will be the bloodiest convention since the Red Cross meeting last weekend.
Cheers and 20s, y'all,
Paul

You all rock... the numbers are being crunched... the beans are being counted... rest up all you crazy gamer kids.
If you had fun, lets us hear about it... here or on FB...
I heard quite a few tall tales, but I'm sure I missed just as many, so put them in words here on the forum or in the FB group.
And the good times and legendary exploits will stay with us...
See you soon,
Luth out

Well aside from me brudder gettin' brutally murdered by some sorta haunted knife--as if Irons would ever pick up a feckin' knife--I suppose tings turned out alright. But I've got a score to settle with whoever sent him on that lousy job, and me trigger finger's been itchin', so fair warnin' lads: ye'd better not find yerself in me scope.

Is there going to be a regular game day at the APL this Saturday? The Warhorn only shows that one module.
Also, I'm brainstorming what to do with my race boon that I got from GMing at GeekOut. What do you all think of a blasting-focused Kitsune Orc-blooded Tattooed Sorcerer/Bloatmage?
I'm sure there will be games... Mother's day weekend has a lot of us family men out of the mix but all you young people need to step up and take the reigns.
You new character sounds fun... I made a Wayang Witch with 21 stealth at level 1.... super stealth Witch/Rogue is what I'm going for!

Final Faction Tally (as of 5/7/13) - including the 25 tables of PFS love from GeekOut!!!
10.) 72PP - Taldor
9.) 104PP - Qadira
8.) 117PP - Cheliax
7.) 128PP - Sczarni
6.) 137PP - Silver Crusade
5.) 159PP - Andoran
4.) 177PP - Grand Lodge
3.) 188PP - Osirion
2.) 210PP - Shadow Lodge
1.) 235PP - Lantern Lodge
It's a race to eternity to decide which of the two leading factions in the APL will remain forever atop the standings. Curious that those are the two factions to be cut, but them's the way the Drandle Drengs.
Kudos to all involved in GeekOut. Twas a right good bit of fun.
