I'm really looking forward to FreeRPG day too! Man I hope WT is up and running by then.
Shirts: Stu, I've still got an XL with your name on it if you want it. Other than that, the first run is completely sold out. If you missed out on the original run, or just can't get enough of how awesome Aravandor's design came out, we can start taking requests for a second order. I know I'll be sportin' mine for free RPG day!
My personal boycott of Hillside continues, but hopefully I'll be able to keep a few characters up with you guys in PFS games on the side. GeekOut was a blast!

Sorry I've been absent from the forums. Work has been... wow... painful. Trying to get used to this sleep schedule on top of the insane amount of physical demand that I am simply not used to (see: WAAAAY out of shape).
Someone asked what I was doing: I'm one of the beverage servers on the casino floor.
Anywho, welcome to all the new people I saw posting! Hopefully I'll get to play with all of ya soon. I'll try to be there on Saturday, even if I have to rush at 10 no matter where we are in game.
I'll see you all then

Hello Folks, I've been hunting around a bit for a group of people who like to play D&D on a regular basis. I was pointed in your direction by a friend of mine and was curious if there were any open spaces in any games right now. My fiance and i like playing and are looking to join up with a group for a fun stable game.
If anyone has a few spots open please let me know =)

@Sonne - Well, for a regular fix of gaming goodness, we do run open PFS games on alternating weekends (next one will be June 9) ... and we are talking about running a Free RPG Day event as well (June 16).
Granted PFS is not the same as an on going campaign, BUT you can get to meet folks who share the hobby and there are numerous folks who are running campaigns (homebrew or premade) outside of the alternating weekend PFS games, so it is a good way to figure out who is running what and who has openings at their non-PFS tables.

I played all three intro scenarios at Geek Out with my character 49561 -2 but I only see recorded the second and third. is there a reason I didn't get credit for the first scenario?
Which one are you missing? I believe Strange_Package was handling the reporting, but it would be good to know which scenario you were missing so he can check the records.

When I look under my character scenarios I don't see First steps, Part I: In service to Lore, just the second and third. I received the sheet at the end of the scenario, but don't see it listed online here

It should be reported soon, Strange just got the last of the information and he will get it entered as soon as he has time.

Oh, one thing that was discussed in passing, but which would probably be a good idea moving forward.
For event creation, I think we should run with a standardized naming system for the event. I would suggest APL-mmddyy (so this weekend's event would be APL-052612). This way if we have a situation where the event has not been set up in the system prior to the event start, everyone will easily have the correct event info on their sheets.
Make sense? Comments?
EDIT: As an FYI, the event # for 5/26/12 is 13230. Note/update your sheets as needed folks.

Hey, I was at the GeekOut event a few weeks ago, and I had a blast! Unfortunately, I live in Kingsport, TN, so coming to Asheville isn't exactly something I can do for regular games. So I'm trying to start my own regular PFS game up here.
I'm letting you know in case you have any players from farther north (toward Johnson City). If you do, let them know about it so they can help me get it off the ground, or even make it their regular game if it's closer. Anyone interested can PM me or email me at KingsportPathfinder(at)gmail(dot)com. Also, if you have any advice on how to get things started well, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

It's really not that hard to get started, all you need is a dedicated group of Pathfinders and a location to meet.
We used to meet at a coffee shop, and we started with a home game group as our core.
Now the lodge has something like 3 regular GMs (with new ones trying it out all the time) and 2-3 full tables every other Saturday, and satellite games happening inbetween throughout the week.
Let us know when you look to start and I'll look at my schedule I'd love to help ya kick it off.

Yeah, I forgot to mention that. The first game will be July 14.
And the trouble is, I've had 0 luck finding anyone else for home games around here. Pretty much the only thing played in this area is Warmachine. But the owner of the local game shop is willing to help with the promotion, and promised to hand out cards to customers if I print them up. Between that, registering it on the paizo website, emailing the nearest VCs, and talking it up on the forums, I'm hoping to get some interest.

Patience young padawan. Actually, while I take a break from RL at the coast this upcoming week, I have to do the layout for Wayfinder #7. And I will be putting together at least a very basic site for the APL.
As to Wayfinder, if any of y'all are not familiar with it, it is a fan based semiannual magazine ... even numbered issues are PDF only, odd numbered issues have a limited print run that are distributed to Paizocon attendees as well as a PDF version ... you can download them for free here..
