Since the recent and tragic death of one of the games that I am DMing, I would like to try to start a new game. The problem is that I have two ideas which I think are equally good and only time to run one more game right now. To help me out of this dilemma, I present both of them to you, the players, to decide what the next game that I run will be since even though the DM is a god, there is room for democracy sometimes.
If you are interested in either of these ideas, vote for one or the other and in a few days I will see if either of them has gotten significant interest, and which one of them the consensus of the community likes better. Keep in mind that right now I only have the time to select one of these ideas.

Since there is a glimmer of interest for the interplanar game, let me explain that the interplanar setting I have in mind is wildly divergent from the standard Material/Inner/Outer Planes setup.
The conceit of this setting is that it is essentially an infinite number of Material Planes all floating around in the Astral Plane with the Traditional Outer/Inner Planes mostly blocked off. Each Plane is essentially its own mini-setting, but can communicate to varying extents with the rest of the multiverse.
Plane Shift spells have a certain "range" and thus long distance travel on the Astral Plane (in Spelljammer style ships of course) is required to go between major planes, so most time would probably be spent on the Astral Plane and various Demiplanes. There are still outsiders and gods and such, but it just works a little differently.

This is Samaerew from your dead game (JC).
I'm definitely interested in either. Particularly going mid-to-high level, since all my current PbPs are low level. I'll build a character when you've got construction details up.
And I promise not to do anything as ridiculous as the last time you used the interplanar setting.
