Touch of idiocy

My question is, is touch of idiocy stackable. It dosn't say anything in descriptor about not being able to cast multi times on same target round after round just that you cant bring a stat below 1. As a lvl 2 spell with no saving throw at all this spell to me seems way powerful. If this has been touch on in other threads im sorry but wading through em all to find this answer wasnt looking fun.

...but you can cast it multiple times hoping to roll a higher penalty.

Like any spell that incurs ability penalties as opposed to damage or drain, you can cast the spell multiple times in order to roll higher penalties with a new duration (replacing the 2 you rolled with a 3, not adding 2+3 for 5.) However, you can only penalize a score up to the maximum allowed by the spell. This goes for multiple casters as well. Two wizards casting Touch of Idiocy won't reduce a creature's scores by more than 6.
