I am starting a new campaign soon and while building my character i came across the question. what is the bonus type of a monks wisdom to ac? I have read the description and it doesn't say, if anyone can help it would be appreciated.

It's an untyped bonus. Which means the following.

It stacks with everything else.

You can't design a magic item with it.

Untyped bonuses only don't stack with the same effect -- you can't cast Enhance Blah spell twice on yourself to receive double the benefit.

The Wisdom-based bonus is a Wisdom bonus (in the same sense that ordinary characters get their Dexterity bonus to AC, but note that it works considerably differently).

The level-based bonus is untyped.

Thanks but that brings me to my follow up question..... Would the bonus apply if you were say a synthesist/monk since you keep your mental scores, yes this is a synthesist question I didn't want to wait in the answer cue over in the 849 post thread
