What's with the stars next to some people's names?

Website Feedback

Some people seem to have acquired one or more pink stars next to their names, but they don't have a tool tip or anything. What are they for?

Grand Lodge

Can you link an example?

Scarab Sages

Adventure Path Charter Subscriber; Pathfinder Maps, Starfinder Adventure Path, Starfinder Maps Subscriber

Looking at my account page, I have one next to my name. I am a one star PFS DM, so I am assuming it means that.

Edit: Interestingly, it doesn't show on this post :) Maybe my subscriptions are too long

That's probably it, then.

It is your PFS GM stars and it looks like they now show up in the PFS section of the message boards (only).

Also, they are in the purple family ;D

Same difference. Some girlish colour.

That reminds me of the story about the weirdly coloured house.

I was to pick someone up on my way to our meeting place (we were driving to a concert), and when I asked where the guy lived, I got an address and some instructions, which ended with, "...it's the house opposite of the salmon coloured house."

I had to reply to that with. "Sorry, I'm both a guy, working in IT no less. For me, salmon is a fish, not a colour." :D

Liberty's Edge

Perhaps they are Sneetches with Stars Upon Thars.

I can confirm that the stars next to names are, indeed, the number of PFS GM stars achieved. We wanted a way to recognize those GMs that have volunteered their time to the campaign on the message boards. After all, without them we wouldn't be playing, would we?

Salmon Is the Man's Man's pink for future reference. It's basically like putting a leather biker jacket on a Chihuahua.

Salmon's still a fish and a chihuahua is still a yapping rat.
