Cheating with a wand of CLW

Advice

If you don't take any classes with Cure Light Wounds on there list, what are the ways you can get to use wands of CLW?

Use magic device obviously works, and the half-elf alternate racial trait Arcane Training (with bard or witch) works.

But are there others?

How many others do you need?

5 more.

An eidolon with the minor magic (cure light wounds) evolution should be able to use a wand of cure light wounds, provided he has hands to do so.

Incorrect. having a spell like ability does not qualify you as a caster. This has been covered time and time again in other threads.

Didn't have to be so demeaning about it. I don't spend much time on the threads anymore, and it's just not that big of a deal for my group to allow it anyway.

No there aren't.

Would you provide a link to one of these threads? I'm having trouble finding one. Not saying you're lying, just that my search-fu has failed.

Silver Crusade

I don't know how to do links.
The short verson.
Spell Like abilitys ( Are like spells but not. Can not use spell completion items. Becous you have to be a spell caster to cast spells.)
Spell casting ( Are spells )

Spell-Like Abilities: Usually, a spell-like ability works just like the spell of that name. A spell-like ability has no verbal, somatic, or material component, nor does it require a focus. The user activates it mentally. Armor never affects a spell-like ability’s use, even if the ability resembles an arcane spell with a somaticcomponent.

Some creatures actually cast arcane spells as sorcerers do, using components when required. Some creatures have both spell-like abilities and actual spellcasting power.

This is the thread that the subject is located in. Toward the end of the thread the Developer chimes in and says spell like abilities can't be used as spell triggers. Essentially the eidolon can help make the wand, but he can never use the wand.

However, the eidolon can take the evolution skilled for a +8 to Use magic device and that should get it done.

More Controversial Eidolon Questions

I didn't intend for my tone to be demanding. Sorry if it translated that way.

The SLA thing comes up mostly with rogues trying to use the rogue ability (a SLA) to qualify for arcane trickster. That might help your search fu. I haven't seen any for months though. The topic was discussed into the ground sortly after Ultimate Magic came out.
