Hi all :)
I am planning on starting a homebrew Pathfinder game in about six weeks (still set in Golarion, but not using an adventure path). I have been trying to find a way to organize all my planning effectively. Long word files have not worked in the past; spreadsheets don't allow for paragraphing or incorporating pictures, maps, etc. very easily; multiple files leads to a lot of window clutter on my small laptop I ferry back and forth from friends' homes.
I am honestly about to give up and go back to an old school pen-and-paper binder, despite how much more difficult it is to update and rearrange material. I've looked online for campaign management software, and while I've found a number of good programs for character tracking and encounter planning, I've yet to find a package that is actually geared towards creating and running a campaign. I'm looking for something that will handle plot outlines, map folios (or internal links to external documents for this), NPC cue cards (including a way to organize stat blocks would be nice, but honestly even just something where I can jot down notes and a picture would be great), player handouts, and general campaign notes. A way to store encounter information and any house rule changes would also be nice but isn't totally necessary for me personally.
Does anyone use or know of anything like this? (It doesn't have to be freeware, I'm prepared to pay pretty well for something that solves this problem for me.) Or am I just dreaming imagining other people might have a use for this kind of product?

If you've seen (and ruled out) Obsidian Portal, I'm not sure what else to suggest. perhaps others here will have some ideas.
Otherwise, check out Obsidian Portal.

I personally use Kyle Olson's Combat Manager Software. It is free and he maintains an active link with his end-users here on these boards. However, his program is really more of an encounter manager, than an entire campaign manager. It works great for setting up encounters ahead of time and saving them as complete files. It also works great as a random treasure generator (he's got on built in), and as a custom monster builder. It does not, though, keep track of maps, campaign notes, plot lines, etc. For that I would take a look here. I used a free version of some of their tools and they are very user friendly and can be adapted well to the Pathfinder rules and Golarion setting. I don't personally have a subscription to their site, I've waffled back and forth about getting it, but their site has the added bonus of just having a one time subscription fee. They are (sort of) on the ground floor of their business model and now might be a good time to get in, since you'll be grandfathered into a system that is constantly improving.
Hope this helps!

I just starting using this for the Jade Regent campaign I am starting this weekend. It is excellent! I made a new tab for character creation information. The embedded automated spreadsheet works great for tracking characters online. I still need to get the session log working and gave my players full contol of the session and treasure log pages.

Glad to hear it is working well for you. If you have any other feedback, pro or con, please don't hesitate to share it (here or by email, however you prefer.)

I also use Obsidian Portal. And another one I didn't see people talk about but which I like to have on my computer (since Obisidan Portal is cloud-based) is The Keep from NBOS software (The Keep).

I use OneNote for my management, which is one reason I haven't been too excited about writing Campaign Management features into Combat Manager. I'm not so sure I could create enough in my spare time to keep up with what I get out of OneNote, let alone all the features in one of these tools.
Kyle you just keep making my gaming life better and better. First with your awesome Combat Manager, and now by introducing me to OneNote. I never even knew that program existed until you mentioned it. Now I've found out that it's available with a synced server folder here at work. I think OneNote just became my digital campaign software of choice.

Realm works
Though I don't know how much longer it will be in preview...
I am eagerly awaiting..http://www.wolflair.com/index.php?context=realm_works
The message boards there say that they'll be starting Beta testing with a few select GM's in November, and that the full release will probably be spring some time.
Then again, LAST fall they said that it would be ready for release by last spring, so we'll see how that goes.
