Surely you jest, sir. You go run and get it right now! It's a sequel of Chrono Trigger for the Playstation console. It has good graphics (for its year of '99), good story, awesome characters (around 45 different possible party members) and great plot twists. Also, good soundtrack and a really cool in-game justification of the FF7-materia-similar system. It involves time-travel, dimension-hopping, body-switching, and a lot more.

I've been super busy for the past couple days so sorry for the lack of posting. Crono Cross was great. Tactics was also great. I'll put up my combat stuff after everyone else posts, Kressel will be pretty crowded if she's still alive by my turn and the rest of her crew will probably move around so I'll have to find a clean shot at someone. Maybe the guy who just put a bounty on my head... :p
btw Lukan, thanks for being a swell guy and letting me cut in front of you.

Yeah... I never had a playstation. Guess I missed out =(. Do playstation 1 games work on a playstation 3? =) My wife has been aching to get a PS3 for little big planet... now I may have an excuse to get one.

lol, I think you can actually by Chrono cross on PSN. You can get many decent PSOne games on there like Grandia, Suikidoken, Final Fantasy and so on.

The Witcher > GMing ? =)
Of course not. I complete The Witcher anyway :p. Just had two interviews in the space of 2 days, but it didn't work out. I found out today it was a door-to-door job so had to say no.
Also been busy talking to this new hot guy I met online :)

I will be getting married on Saturday, and as such my posting rate will drop slightly until Sunday evening. Feel free to DMPC me along if necessary.
congratz! Hope you and the better half have a great time. Is it a themed wedding?
A friend of mine got married via a pagan binding and everyone was dressed like fantasy characters like princesses and ect.
Also my dad's friend had a starwars based wedding with the bride dressed as Princess Leia in her jabber slave garb and the groom as Darth Vader I believe.

Congratulations buddy!!! I would even go as far to imagine that you won't be posting for sometime afterwards, what with post-wedding duties and honeymooning and all.
**EDIT**
I've updated the loot we've gathered since we last left the outpost. I figure that Mwk Chain Shirt will get the attention of a few of you. Also, for those of you who have the proficiency, a longbow would be a good addition.
Jameson Addercop IV
Thanks all. We're actually holding off on the honeymoon to save up and go somewhere nice. We're having a civil service with a sand ceremony? I'm fuzzy on the details. I will be wearing a kilt (utilitkilt not a real one) and our cake topper features kobolds from Super Dungeon Explore painted up as a bride and groom (sorta), so there's that.

I told my girlfriend that our son should serve as a substitute for a wedding since he symbolizes love, devotion and commitment and is equally expensive (at this point) but she punched me in the throat and demanded the ring. I guess she'll be the one to catch those virtual flowers.

Gratz Jameson on the wedding and Aron on the gay lover!
Sorry I've been a tad away from the game, I had some RL issues popping out (moving out of the house and a broken PC) that left me unable to access internet the last few days. I'll try signing with an ISP asap.
lol, more friend than lover for now. Se what happens in the longrun.
I have no idea how to mess with a Mac, I'm find with a PC, but I'm not going to get into a PC and Mac war, especially after the recent death of steven jobs.

LMFAO, damn that was a fun read. Couldn't stop laughing and I love the sound of Jameson's wedding there, sounds really awesome.

We had a good time. Everybody had BBQ and there was plenty of mead and other drinks to be had. Wandered around in my kilt making other men uncomfortable and my wife lead most of the women there in a belly dance routine they'd been practicing.
Luckily my wife is the daughter of a jeweler, so her ring is a band with no stone. Jewelery just doesn't mean much to her so she never wants anything fancy. Which I find no need to argue with. :D

Yeah I wouldn't argue with someone who wasn't too interested in jewlery, especially with prices as they are due to the economy.
Eitherway, sounded awesome, especially with making the guys feel uncomfortable in a kilt (hope it wasn't windy, that would be a reception to remember!) and the belly-dancing too. Always great to have a interesting wedding that will be well remembered and different. I hope to have one that'll be quite different and fun to remember :)
Maybe even have one of those insanely huge cakes from the British chocolate shop: Choccywoccydoodah or something like that.

I'm going to take the Mwk Studded Leather and I owe everyone my share for the Cure Light Wounds Wand.
Studded Leather Armor: 87.5
CLW Wand: 60
Expenses: 147.5 (87.5 + 60 = 147.5)
Ganit's updated share: 94.97g (242.47 - 147.5 = 94.97)
Everyone else add 29.5 additional gold to your heavy coin purses. (147.5 / 5 = 29.5)

Thanks for the number crunching. I'm a bit confused. Is our share purely based off of the gold we have gathered so far - not including the items? Seems kind of meager if you add in the high-priced items that we couldn't sell? EDIT: Just re-scanned your post and realized it is just based off of our 'liquidated' loot (Gold & stuff sold to Oleg).
Can we create a "potential share" with all of the loot value divided equally? That way we can take the items and deduct that cost from the potential without cutting into actual gold? Or what are our plans with all the loot we can't sell?
Carina Stigard
EDITED - I will take the Silver Bracelet and Silver Bangle and 37gp - not the masterwork handaxe.
Hope I did this right, I took 34 gp - 4.5 from the loot and the 29.5 from Ganit.
I also took the Silver Bangle and the Silver Bracelet (I don't need these, but will take them as a share of my loot to balance things out). I do not have anything that I really need at present. I would also like the Ring of Swimming - let me know how we are handling magic items.
As a note, did we ever appraise the Musicbox? Why are we keeping it?

I’m guessing we’ll have to wait for a week or so until he has enough gold to handle all the junk we have to sell. We could probably stash it on the pack mule or get a chest to keep it in at the outpost???
Idk if the music box was appraised but I figured I'd throw it in the keep pile since it and the liquor seemed out of place and therefore suspicious and therefore presumably important. It’s a quick fix to toss them in the burn pile. It’s not like we can really sell it at the moment anyway haha.
As for magical items, we haven't really put forth a solid plan on distribution. Wands, scrolls and staffs are easy enough to place but rings are beneficial to nearly everyone. I guess it could be treated like everything else; you can pay for it when you have the gold. Until then I, personally, see no issue with you equipping it.
**EDIT**
Dear God! I just read your post Carina. Totally forgot about the horses. They sell for 37.5g 75/2 each and the wagon sells for 17.5 35/2. Curse you and your available gold, Oleg!!!!

I'm pretty sure I posted this:
a wooden music box worth 90 gp
If I didn't register it there might be a problem and you'll need more loot, but I'm certain I added it.
Edit:
Yes I did, here's what's in the spoiler in case Ganit missed something.
It takes time, but the spoils are hudden under the less interesting supplies of food, firewood and tents:

Concerning Oleg's budget, you won't have to wait a entire week. You have been gone for longer than that and the amount of time that has passed it won't take too long. Eitherway, it'll mean he has more items to trade with the merchants that arrive. Every week he gains a extra 150 gp in goods so it'll take a while to be able to trade in everything due to how huge that amount is.
Definantly would break the bank, but don't worry this AP will give you more than enough time to gain the cash over time :)
For Jhod's mission, you have to escort him to the temple for the quest to be completed which is why it's still incomplete. Just to inform you xp nuts who are curious :p
Lukan Swane "Swaney"
That's quite a large sum of gold we have racked up =). I'm a bit timid about leaving it stashed at Oleg's. If it gets to be too big of a pile of stuff to be sold, then I don't think there is anything stopping us from making a trip up to a larger city to pawn it off, is there?
Man I'm glad we have you Ganit. All this loot would be a bear to distribute without a solid system and someone to put in the effort. Thanks again.
The Hermit Ganit D'Artain
Just doing my part to help the cause, brother. I'm happy to run the books so long as everyone finds the system fair, I would sincerely hate to see a problem come up again.

So I just reread this.
The Mwk cold iron handaxe, +1 hide armor, mwk studded leather, etc... are all things that we still have AFTER we sold a bunch of junk off to Oleg. If you don't need the silver bangle and silver bracelet you shouldn't feel obligated to take them.
You take 242g, 4s, 7c as your share of what we've looted thus far. If you don't want/need that jewelry or anything else we've come across then just take the gold, it has no effect on anyone elses share.
In my case, I owed everyone money for the wand so I took the 60g out of my share to even up. After that I decided that I wanted to take the Mwk studded leather from the items we have yet to sell so it's cost was subtracted from my share too. That money that came out of my share was split up by 5 so that the rest of the party is paid back for the items I took/owed them.
If I'm talking out of my a** I can just shut up. I'd rather everyone be happy so I'm willing to switch to a more conventional method. This way is just mathematically fair to everybody.
Lukan Swane "Swaney"
Well I was thinking that I could take some stuff out of the pile that I could possibly use - like the Mwk Cold Iron Handaxe. I can always use it later for trade when I am done with it.
So I'll toss 156 gold into the group's funds and take the Mwk Cold Iron Handaxe. Everyone add an additional 31.2 gold to their coin purse.
Carina Stigard
My reason for taking the jewelry was a) I am a woman and like jewelry; b) my understanding was that Oleg only has like 400gp total. If we sell the junk and get 250gp each, that is 1500gp -- Where did the extra 1100 in cash come from? I figured that if I took the jewelry, then there would be more actual cash for others to grab/buy stuff with.
The Hermit Ganit D'Artain

That extra ~1100g (1068.86 to be precise) was the total cash we've gathered from bandits, treasure piles, and corpses so it didn't go through Oleg at all. I divided that post by keep and sell, the majority of the cash came from the keep section. If you want the jewelry than by all means take it, I just wanted to make sure you understood that you didn't have to.
Carina Stigard
To give you all more flexibility, I will keep the jewelry. I can always sell it later for the same amount, so it is a net zero to me. I may consider starting to buy scrolls at some point, but until then, I will just keep stocking up on cash/jewelry.
DM Aron Marczylo
Oleg isn't unreasonable, you could ask him to either look after all the stuff for now or buy a chest and he'll keep it here whilst you stash everything possible in there. That way you aren't all encombered when travelling the stolen lands.
Lukan Swane "Swaney"
Instead of locking it up in a chest, I say we let him store and have access to our stockpile, that way he can sell the stuff when travelers come by and give us our share. Essentially selling the stuff to travelers and adventurers for 100% cost, taking 50% off the top, and giving us the rest. Depending on Aron's ruling I'd even be bold enough to say that it may boost Oleg's income because he has a much greater stock?

Instead of locking it up in a chest, I say we let him store and have access to our stockpile, that way he can sell the stuff when travelers come by and give us our share. Essentially selling the stuff to travelers and adventurers for 100% cost, taking 50% off the top, and giving us the rest. Depending on Aron's ruling I'd even be bold enough to say that it may boost Oleg's income because he has a much greater stock?
Not a bad idea. We would still get the same amount of gold as we would if we had sold these items to him regularly. I'll second your proposal.

Items still available:

I'm certain the +1 hide armour would be great for anyone proficient with is such as you Ganit or Sir Bronwyn, Cambyl, Jameson or Lukan, depending on what armour you have. Remember this will be masterworked condition for you who wish to have high dex and the +1 enhancement makes it quite nice and tempting too. Though for style it'd probably fit Ganit best.

My shopping list for Oleg's:
Light Horse 75 gp
Harness 2 gp
Pack Saddle 5 gp
Saddlebags x2 8 gp
Feed x 40 days 2 gp
Rations x 16 days 8 gp
Total = 100 gp
The remaining 250 gold I would like to pay Oleg towards the purchase of Full Plate armor for myself.

not a bad idea. You guys trust him so you could very easily let him pay you guys back overtime. He's been trying to widen his merchant numbers due to you guys being here, however not many merchants wish to travel down here to it will not boost his income unfortunatly. These lands are uncivilised and most merchants would perfer to sell their wares in a large city rarther than a trading post in the middle of nowhere with the ever present danger of bandits or other creatures to come after them.

The Hide is tempting but I'm hoping to get some heavier armor. If Oleg is willing to order Full Plate (maybe even Masterwork) and have me make payments on layaway that'd be ideal for me.
I say get something a little lighter for now, but masterwork so that you don't take the (-) stuff. Then when we get more money, but mithral full plate. It is going to take a week at least to order the plate and by then we may well have the money, remember we are probably going to find those kobolds as well as the mites next time, that is like 2k or more just in the rewards I think.

Yup, as I've said if you've got the cash he can put out the word that someone's looking for full plate or even masterworked full plate and he should have it within a week. Just list what you'd like to order, hand in the cash and it'll be there waiting for you when you return.

You've got a incoming reward for the bandits too ;)
It'll take some time for the cash to return, but they would've sent off a message after you returned and will take some time for someone trustworthy to come down and give you the cash.

The hide armor certainly does have its perks but I need armor with some breathing room. I'm trying to avoid ACP so I can make for a good ranger/rogue.
James, we have 13 light horses at our disposal already. You can save yourself 37.5g if you just take one of those.
