So let's say my shiny happy Stolen Lands kingdom wants to sponsor a trade caravan carrying shoes, ship (part)s and sealing wax to... oh, somewhere in Vudra.
What's the conversion rate from Build Points to caravan stats and back? Would a 1 BP investment be 4,000 or 2,000 gp worth of stuff?

Nothing official here, of course, but I tend to 1 BP == 2000 gp. Conversion back to BP would depend on what the cargo is - see beginning of KM #2, where it's written, that they receive BP - and here I assume by caravan - for 50 BP to get them started.

Yeah, as RuyanVe says, there's nothing official. The two systems weren't designed to be completely compatible, mostly because at a caravan scale, gold still works as an economic system, where it doesn't really for an entire kingdom.
If you do decide to mix the two systems together, though, let us know how it went!
