How often do the undead show up in this AP? No spoilers please.
I'm working on an bardic Enchanter for this campaign, and can already affect plants, magical beasts, animals, and monstrous humanoids with my enchantments. I was wondering if I should work on being able to charm undead as well.
The player's guide recommends Rangers take undead as an enemy, amongst many others, so clearly it'll have some use. But my question is how much?
Undead certainly pop up in the campaign, but they don't appear more often than anything else, and less than certain other types of enemies. If it would require significant dedication to pull off, it's probably not worth it. I'm not sure off the top of my head how you might be able to enchant undead. The witch in my campaign might like to learn though...
Dirge bard archetype. At level 2,their mind-affecting spells can work on even mindless undead.
Between you and the GM saying the same thing, taking the archetype no longer is so necessary. Thanks!
