Wild Shape & DR

I have a player who wants to play a cave druid. He's sad about not getting burn as a magma ooze, but I can't see if there is anywhere stating he does or does not receive the DR of his new form.

elemental-body.

A Magma Ooze is more like taking an Elemental form than an Beast one.
When you look at the Elemental body details it covers the resistances and the Burn ability (ie they DO get it).

Think thats the only real way forward, teh Beastshape DOESN'T give it to him, although when those rules were written none of the beasts HAD Burn. The resistances are covered in BS-IV - 20 points resistance to relevant elements.

How annoying.

When they allowed a change to oozes I think they should have expanded the description to deal with such matters.
