I have seen a steady increase in being able to locate fellow Pathfinder players over the past two years, mostly that is due to attending local regional conventions in Los Angeles and the surrounding regions like Strategicon and Gamex as well as local game days held at a variety of game stores, but mostly I've only found out about these by searching online and through word of mouth from other gamers I have met at these events.
I keep looking for more groups in the greater Los Angeles and Southern California region and there are a ton of them, but no communication or central point to bring them all together.
There are groups on facebook, yahoo, meetup.com, and they're all filled with great gamers, but even with a regional venture captain, there isn't a lot of cross connect between them.
What do y'all think can be done to help with this communication/organization issue?

I have purchased the core book, advanced plays guide, ultimate magic, game mastery guide, inner sea world guide, bestiary 1 and 2, and also some module, i planed on starting my own game. No takers. I can not get it off the ground.
Hi Triga, One of my friends decided to start a separate group at a different time from the Pathfinder group that I DM. I am a player in his game. He joined some Roleplayer online hookup service and our group filled up within two months. Now, granted, we went through a few people before we found the right mix. But gosh, I was amazed how quickly we found a core group with the same playing styles.
Greg
I have also put together groups using different websites to connect with interested players. I am running two groups and out of all those people only three I knew previously (and I have played with them for years off and on).
I use meetup, penandpapergames, and obsidian portal. I have posted on different meet ups that are D&D or Pathfinder ones. I have created an obsidian portal page for both of my campaigns. I also put them on pen and paper games and look at their directory of local gamers.
Usually, when I am looking for new players I have a one off game day. Usually a first or second level thing and the players bring a character and we just play together. It is a hands on interview. To see if they like my playing style and if I like theirs. We have a good time for a day and those I want in the group I invite back through email.
It has worked really well and then some of those new people might bring a friend along.
Also, there is a player connection forum here on the Paizo message boards and I would post a notice that you are starting a new game at your two local game stores.
Good luck...

beginner DM looking for three player for pathfinder. help is ok and able to rate my cam-panes. also votes will be aloud on how the cam-pane will run. players must live in or around Swansea Massachusetts.
Hello Zerothis101. Welcome to Pathfinder.
I am up in Vermont, so I'm afraid I wont be able to be of much help to you in Swansea MA. I do have a couple of suggestions.
If you post your message in the Gamer Connection section of the message boards, you might get more replies. That's the "gamers seeking Gamers" section of the Paizo Message boards
ALso Don Walker up in Boston would be your nearest Coordinator for Pathfinder Society organized play games (games that are run at conventions and stores). If you shoot him an email at – BostonPFS@gmail.com and let him know you are starting a game, he might have some suggestions and know some people in the SE Mass area.
I hope this helps
