We are settled then. I will sneak inside the room prior to his arrival. Upon his entrance, feel free to let loose on the guards and then join me inside to administer the pain. I have a very interesting display of the body planned, but it is a surprise!

GM: if we decide to move forward, maybe we can fast forward a few days to the attempt to enter the room and prepare for the guards just before the Mark's arrival so that we can move things along...just a suggestion - your call.

Yes, Allarion and Bal-Dashiir, position yourselves so that you can see when the Mark arrives. When he lets himself into the room, be prepared to subdue the hall guards and then enter the room to aid me. I will leave now before the lockdown and attempt to enter the room unseen via the hallway. If that does not work, then I will be back to head out the window and climb next door.
Maeltheron takes out the necessary masterwork tools to pick the lock on the Mark's room door. He stealthily exits their room and moves to the door of the Mark's room.
Stealth: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (9) + 18 = 27
Disable Device: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (15) + 11 = 26
If this attempt to enter the room is unsuccessful or discovered, then Maeltheron will feign drunkeness and return to his room. I will then use the Climber's Kit to climb from my room's window to the Mark's.
Stealth: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (11) + 18 = 29
Climb: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (19) + 13 = 32
Disable Device (if window locked): 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (7) + 11 = 18
Once in the room, Maeltheron will search for a hiding place to conceal himself and prepare his weapons with poison before the Mark arrives.
