Can you 'stack' multiple castings of the Unwilling Shield spell, such that you have several different creature who are taking part of the damage dealt to you? If you can, does everyone involved take half, or is it divided proportionally to the number of Unwilling Shields?

Checking out the stacking rules:

"Same Effect with Differing Results: The same spell can sometimes produce varying effects if applied to the same recipient more than once. Usually the last spell in the series trumps the others. None of the previous spells are actually removed or dispelled, but their effects become irrelevant while the final spell in the series lasts."

I would say they are all still active, but the damage only gets divided between the caster and the most recent target. If that target dies, moves outside the range, or the effect is dispelled, then the effect 'moves' to the next most recent target.

For example, Evil Overload casts unwilling shield on three of his minions: first on Minion 1, then Minion 2, and finally on Minion 3. A bunch of do-gooders burst in and attack the Evil Overlord.

At first, damage is split between the Evil Overlord and Minion 1. Minion 1 finally succumbs to the wounds. Then damage is split between the Evil Overlord and Minion 2. Minion 2 runs away and the effect ends for him. Finally, the damage is split between Minion 3 and the Evil Overlord.
