Hi, we are due to start out first AP in the next few weeks and it looks like it will be Second darkness..
Is there anything in the Companion book that a player should NOT read?? is it ment fo players or the DM?? or both..

The Companion was the Player's Guide. So its all good for them to read, in fact its recommended.
seconded. And it's a quite good read, so I'd recommend you recommend it to your players :)
