Maybe an asteroid will streak toward you from the heavens and...not hit you.
Wish there were something I could say or do. We are all on this planet struggling with issues great and small. May your maintain your sanity and your health, but above all grace and good humor during trying times.
I will attempt to do soemthing resembling updates later tonight. I've just been spending the past couple of weeks getting moved. We should be in by the 11th.
So shortly after posting above I was informed we'd be spending all night packing as a wild U-Haul will be appearing first thing in the morning to remove the majority of the things here.
You know what, it's been rough and it isn't going to get easy so consider this a short break until the 11th. If I can sneak in a post I will as I know everyone is anxious to get on with it and for that I apologize. It's been an incredibly rough year. The black hateful spirit is willing but the talons are busy trying to keep the stomach happy.
So after reading TarkXT's treatise on combat maneuvers I want in on the fun. I however have sorrowful little skill at optimizing. Evidence Pollux.
Looking at making a Halfling underfoot adept/maneuver master monk using Kobold style to pump CMB to plaid. Not wedded to Halfling but I have never played one in Pathfinder and Kobold style requires small size or less.
Could also Lore Master or Cad after 1st as FoM works in armor.
However I am worried about reach and damage issues. Assuming the party has a barb or even 1-2 3/4 bab's to gank the targets the monk leaves blind/disarmed/sick/prone and all is good but a Halfling Mnk/Ftr does not seen a primary beatstick.
As this will be for a future PbP I am looking for something that is impressive/functional at low levels given the duration of most pbp games. Present company excepted of course.
Bringing this up here first as the idea is a tribute to TarkXT and you guys are kinder and more focused that the rabble on the open messageboard. :7)

If you're playing a dedicated control than all you really need is reliable control and high initiative. So don't worry about that.
You may wish to close down The Seven Swordsman if it's dead in the water. At least then I don't have to get my hopes up every time I see a notification in the discussion thread for a DIFFERENT game. :|
I wasn't sure with the description of the glowing armor being now hit. I tok that as Tal since I didn't think the elementalhad armor. Either way we are good though. I like how Castor put in his 2 cp.
[ooc]Glad all is clearer, and the elemental is wearing iron.

Might even be wearing more than you. This could confuse the monkey as to who exactly is the tin man :7).
I've gotten my hands on Only War. A happy game in the happy far future of the 41st millenium about the valiant, heroic, and above all highly skilled regiments of huamnity's grand Imperial Guard.
I once made a character for one of the 40k rpg settings. Didn't get to play long. What I do know about the warhammer rpg's is that in the beginning everything is quite difficult, but the more you grow as a character, the more awesome you become at what you are supposed to be awesome at.
Wouldn't mind playing, only problem is that I don't have access to the rules :)
Pretty straightforward as most the actual character building is meant to be collaborative. This is because though you are individuals you were trained and put together as a squad within a regiment.
pftt it's only fire. I thought clerics of Sarenrae always wanted to be closer to the sun?
Anywa I'm getting you guys updated now. I meant to earlier today but a massive oak tree fell scross the street killing six power poles and erasing a 1976 lincoln from existence.
By the by is Poor Wandering One interested in Only War? If no one anwers the recruitment tommorrow I'll have three players which is enough for me to go with as NPC's can fill out the rest of the squad to die easily.
