Can a first level human conjurer wizard cast summon monster I with a duration of four rounds? Here's my thought process:
1. Spell Focus - conjuration (prereq. for Varisian Tattoo)
2. Varisian Tattoo - conjuration (+1 to CL for conjuration spells)
3. Gifted Adept - Summon Monster I (increase CL +1 for Summon Monster I)
4. Conjuration school, Summoner's Charm (increases duration of conjuration spells by 1/2 wizard level, minimum 1)
I guess this relies on varisian tattoo stacking with gifted adept. As the character advances, would I calculate the 1/2 level bonus for the conjuration school summoner's charm before adding the varisian tattoo and gifted adept bonus or after?

This should be legal.
While it seems interesting at the first couple of levels, I would discourage you from spending the trait on gifted adept unless it is flavorwise an important part of your character. As you get a few levels, having that +1 CL for Summon Monster 1 is not going to be important as you A) will be casting higher level spells, and B) will have a quite long duration for your summons anyway.I guess this relies on varisian tattoo stacking with gifted adept. No, the summoner's charm add rounds based on your wizard level, not your caster level, so it is fixed by level, and not affected by the feat/trait.

Yes, I essentially did the same thing with my character except she was a Varisian Bloatmage Evoker. I took the Bloatmage Initiate feat and Gifted Adept (Magic Missle). Thats +3 CL for Magic Missle and +2 CL for all other Evocations. Awesomeness.
