Ho boy, there's a lot of threads about that here. For starters, you might want to check the Game Mastery Guide for a list of recommended music.

Sovereign Court

Loreena mckennit and enya are a good start...i also use hevia and dead can dance...

Found Music and things like Stomp. Particularly for "primitives", goblinoids, etc.

Tuvan Throat singing
Medieval Babes
The soundtrack to "Ravenous"
Theremin music
Didgeridoo music
There is always Orff, Wagner, and Tchaikovsky

Liberty's Edge

Here is a pretty good thread to check out:

20 Best "MUST HAVE" CD Soundtracks for Gaming?

Here is the list I came up with, after a lot a research:

Conan the Barbarian
Braveheart
The Cell
300
Lord of the Rings (all three)
Gladiator
Lost (TV show)
The DaVinci Code
King Kong (new one)
The Last of the Mohicans
Pirates of the Caribbean (all three)
Last of the Mohicans
Alexander
Kingdom of Heaven
King Arthur
The 13th Warrior
Excalibur
Troy
Batman Begins
The Dark Knight
Clash of the Titans
Prince of Persia
Robin Hood Prince of Thieves (Kevin Cosner version)
Robin Hood (new one)
Star Trek (new one)
The Tudors
The 7th Voyage of Sinbad

You can't go wrong with any of these!

Shadow Lodge

Actually, you can. :)

They are all good, but sometimes if a soundtrack is too familiar to the players, it can start to remind them of that movie rather than what is going on in the actual game, which might be a very different thing.

I would also add Silent Hill!!!!!!! (as many as you can find, but specifically 2, 3, and Homecomming), the Daredevil Score, (not soundtrack), The Crow Score, most of the Midnight Syndicate albums, and possibly The Last Samurai.

Sczarni RPG Superstar Season 9 Top 16, RPG Superstar 2015 Top 32

The Eagle had a good score for background music.

How to Train Your Dragon is also a great choice.

Sovereign Court

I would highly recommend Fieldings by Hala Strana.

Eerie, creepy music, all made by non-electronic instruments and with an Eastern-European vibe that I find quite timeless, or rather out-of-time.

That reminds me Nusrat Ali Feteh Kahn(sp?), the Qwalli singer that did the vocals for Last Temptation of Christ
