Ok so i am havin g bit of problems concerning the leadership feat and taking a monster as a cohort.
Lets take a pixie for example you can get it at lv 8 or is it that if your score is lv 8 you can have it?
For example if i have a lv 9 character with a +5 charisma i can have it as a pixie with 3 more level of sorceres? or i cant possibly have it for i need to be at least lv 10? If its the latter and i take the take the feat lv 11 those it come lv 1 sorcerous pixie?
Also if i want to take a (good) dragon as a cohort what is the minimun requierements to take a dragon at least a young one. i am guessing lv 15 for a bronze young dragon.
Thanks

The relevant quote from the rules is "Monsters on the following list all work well as cohorts (be they assassins, bodyguards, mounts, etc.)—their effective cohort “level” corresponds to the level available to the PC as afforded by his Leadership score." So you can recruit a pixie when you qualify to recruit an 8th level cohort (leadership score of 12, your level at least 10).
Thereafter, they would continue advancing as any other cohort - they'll earn experience normally for a cohort and can pick up a first level of sorcerer once they accumulate enough XP, provided that you're at least 11th level by then (since that qualifies you for a 9th level cohort).Edit:
For the young dragon cohort, it's CR + 8. The CRs for a young metallic (good) dragon are: Brass 7, Bronze 9, Copper 8, Gold 11, Silver 10. So you'd need to be able to have a 15th level, 17th level, 16th level, 19th level, and 18th level cohort respectively. Since cohorts cap out at 17th level, you could only have a Brass, Bronze or Copper young dragon cohort, and you would need a score (and a level) of 21 (17), 24 (19), or 23 (18) respectively.

Treat the monster as normal, and subtract the number in the book from the cohort's level. If you can get a level 8 cohort normally, then you can get an unleveled pixie. If you can get a level 11 cohort, then you can give it 3 levels of sorcerer.
Dragons are a pain and IMO overpriced for the leaership feat.
I hope this helps.
