Had a reflex save at the end of my last post for an 18, but if you need another one here you go.
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (11) + 8 = 19
Lucky's grin widens as he somersaults behind Irontusk in an attempt to flank him with Sir Thomas.
Acrobatics to avoid Attack of Opportunity
1d20 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12
"Such nice crafstmanship burning all around us...this is why we can't have nice things!"
Lucky swings in a wide arc as he positions himself on the other side of Irontusk.
stonechild
Lucky- As you attempt to tumble past Irontusk, his dagger strikes out, 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25, stabbing you for 1d4 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8 damage. None the less, you get behind him and manage to land a telling blow.
BTW, your short sword does 1d4 since it's small not 1d6, but I'll let it stand this time. Yes I need a reflex save each round from everyone on the barge to avoid getting burned
Sapphire-Your turn
stonechild
Lucky-That's fine, but then you can't use Weapon Finesse with it, since it's a longsword
Sapphire-I'll need a concentration check to cast the spell while treading water DC 16
Sir Thomas, Lucky and Sapphire get a +1 to their attacks and saves vs fear.
Joryn-Still running
Irontusk turns towards Lucky reflex save 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21, and among the flames and smoke burning your eyes and over the sounds of the crackling flames and sound of mooring lines parting, he takes a demonic appearance, actully the whole scene takes on a hellish appearance. With a insane look in his eye, he yells, "I'm going to use your skull as a goblet, halfling!" He then attacks, 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16, but the gods of luck seem to be on Lucky's side and he dodges the blow.
Sir Thomas-Your turn (don't forget the +2 for flanking and +1 for bless).
"Lucky" Baremeadows
Huh...I guess I never realized that about Weapon Finesse...was it like that in DnD too? For some reason I thought it was always just a straight up "use Dex for attack rolls" type feat. Ok, I'll just make it a dagger then.
And thank GOD he missed...I'm sitting on 2HP here...you better finish him off there, Devin cause I'm outta there next round. LOL
"Lucky" Baremeadows
How do you only have a +4 to hit? You should be getting 2 from flanking, 1 from me and 1 from bless at the very least...plus strength modifier and hopefully weapon focus or something.
Also, you can use your weapon to do subdual damage if it's anything like DnD (which I'm assuming it is) with just a -2 to hit I think. But it's been a while since I've played 3.5 so the modifier may be different.
stonechild
Okay Sir Thomas, you certainly can attack unarmed and it will deal subdual damage, but you provoke an attack of opportunity from Irontusk for doing so. Also you're at +9 to hit right now.
As Sir Thomas attempts to throw a haymaker at Irontusk, another burning piece of the barge roof hits him he takes1d6 ⇒ 6 points of fire damage, distracting him. Meanwhile, Irontusk stabs his blade AoO, attack 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29 confirmation 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (5) + 9 = 14 fails at Sir Thomas, wounding him for 1d4 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9 points of damage. With a grunt, Sir Thomas falls to the deck bleeding, never having landed his blow.
Sir Thomas-
Luciano -You can see down the street towards the docks. By the rising smoke, appearantly a fire has begun. Give me a perception check.
stonechild
While in the water, Sapphire manages to pull herself alongside the barge and reaches up and touches one of Sir Thomas's hands that had extended past the gunwale. She prays to Pelor and despite being rather wet, choking on the smoke and being mindful of the flames, she manages to get her spell off. Unseen by her due to her position, perception for Irontusk 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (13) - 2 = 11, or Irontusk as he turns towards Lucky, Sir Thomas's eyes open with a flutter.
Sir Thomas-
stonechild
Luciano-You believe you see the hulking form of Irontusk on a burning barge to the side of the pier, you're not 100% sure that's it's him, due to the smoke, but you're pretty sure it's him. He seems to have finished with something and is turning away from the direction you're coming from.
Lucky-Your turn
stonechild
Well, he does have a broken crossbow bolt throught his left shoulder, that seems to have bled quite a bit, from when Luciano shot him some time ago, not that it seems to have slowed him down much. And there is also the bleeding wound about where you'd expect his right kidney to be, due to your efforts. But he still seems to be standing strong, after all he had no problem dropping Sir Thomas.
"Lucky" Baremeadows
Lucky looks back at Irontusk after hearing his threat. "A goblet huh? Maybe you should stop WINE-ing about it and do it!"
Total Defense action trying to distract Irontusk long enough to let Sir Thomas get up and finish him off. We can always stabilize him if he drops. :)
AC = 23 now
stonechild
Briefly thrusting herself out of the water, Sapphire slaps Lucky on the ass while casting her spell. Lucky, you rather enjoy that spanking.
Irontusk grunts when he sees Lucky get healed, reflex save 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9 damage 1d6 ⇒ 4 then grunts even lounder as the roof of the barge collapses and a large piece of flaming wood strikes him in the back. He looks at Lucky and shouts, "You like getting touched by your whore girlfriend so much huh? Why don't you join her." He jumps to the next barge, 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 13 normally provoking an AoO from Lucky, but not during total defense, quaffs something he pulls from his belt and beckons to Lucky, "Come on runt, I still want my goblet" he says with an evil grin.
The whole barge is aflame and by the buckling of the barge the fire appears to be affecting it's ability to stay afloat.
Sir Thomas-your turn reflex save, which I hope you make
Sir Thomas Shineshield
oh boy the tension's so thick I could cut it with a knife, here the hopefully successful reflex save
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16
now presumably i'm on the deck, with that in mind I shall stand up and proceed to draw my sword whilst trying to move off the barge onto a pier or dock, if that is not an option i will then hop onto irontusks' barge. If needed, acro check
1d20 - 5 ⇒ (9) - 5 = 4
stonechild
Badly burned and wounded Sir Thomas manages to crawl off the barge o'death onto the pier.
Luciano-You've reached the pier, at it's end you see Sir Thomas crawl off a flame engufed barge that is giving off copious amount of smoke. By the shouts of "fire" from behind you others have begun to notice the fire as well. Hopefully people will come to fight the fire as it is beginning to spread to the pier.
You believe you see Lucky, still on the flaming barge and through the dense smoke to the barge beyond it, you believe you see Irontusk. Of Sapphire, there is no sign. It's your turn.
Luciano Thrice-Damned
"This would have been so much easier in the old days!", Luciano mutters to no one in particular. With that he looks about for a boat-hook or something similar, possibly even some rope, to help Lucky get off of the barge. He will also be looking to see Sapphire anywhere. "Don't worry little ones, we can find that plague of a half-orc later, and so much the worse for him when we do."
stonechild
Yes Lucky, everyone can see Irontusk. But as the song goes, smoke gets in your eyes...
Luciano- You can easily find a plank or some rope to reach to Lucky with. I'll need a perception check to notice Sapphire though.
Lucky- Your turn, jump ship or get burned.
stonechild
Luciano- you see Sapphire treading water inbetween the two barges, shes just about at the corner closest to the dock.
Sapphire-You can see the others on the dock, the seem to be encouraging yoy to head towards them. You're not sure where Irontusk is. It is your turn.
Joryn comes running up. He has a bag in his hand. "We...can't let... the.. son of swine.. get away" he pants. And then he throws the bag at Irontusk. Mage Hands a tanglefoot bag 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18vs touch AC of 12. Irontusk reflex save to avoid entanglement 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5 The bag bursts upon hitting Irontusk, and quickly hardens, adhearing his feet to the barge.
Irontusk eyes widen and he screams "Nooo" as the tanglefoot bag hits him. "damm you dwarf" he screams,"but this isn't gong to hold me." He thrashes mightly strength check 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15 vs DC of 17 but fails to win loose. He then starts scraping at the goo entangling his feet damage 1d4 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10

Try to snag Toothless with my whip. Move to the pier, maybe the others can help me pull him in.
1d20 - 3 ⇒ (16) - 3 = 13swim to tred water
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21attack with whip
1d20 - 3 ⇒ (2) - 3 = -1to swim to the pier to hand off the whip
Do I remember where Irontooth lost his tooth and is that one of the burning barges?
stonechild
Furiously treading water, Sapphire lashes her whip at the barge, snagging a cleat. She turns towards the pier, and attempts to swim to it. However due to the chop created by the sinking barge she only makes it a few feet before she is overcome by the waves. Just before her head disappears below the surface of the water she throws the end of her whip, which lands on the end of the pier, and you hear her faintly sputter "catch".
While you are not entirely sure of her purpose, it does occur to you that since the barge Irontusk is on isn't moored to anything anymore, given a sufficient application of strength, it can be brought to the pier or at least several feet closer.
Sapphire, Irontusk did indeed lose his tooth on the burning barge.
Sir Thomas-Your turn
Luciano Thrice-Damned
Sorry guys. It's been a crazy month with all of the fun in Africa.
Luciano snaps out of a very bad memory and almost on instinct raises his crossbow and fires at Irontusk.
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
damage if i hit.
1d10 ⇒ 10
He then begins to look towards getting Sapphire out of the water.
