So, I read a thread a little while back about Graz'zt not playing a huge roll in the STAP and why that might be. My question is (because I haven't yet read that far ahead) just how big a role does he play. More importantly, is his apparently minor role in as Tyralandi's patron really crucial? Like, if I make Tyralandi's patron some other evil demon (one from our campaign world) will it seriously mess up the big dénouement of the STAP? Any insights for me.

Graz'zt's attentions are... occupied... elsewhere.
His only scheduled interaction in the Savage Tide is at the last, when the Demon Prince Demogorgon is defeated and the Crown is up for grabs (literally!)
I think you can safely change up Tyralandi's patronage to whomever you like. You can bring in Graz'zt at the end, or not, as you see fit (several Demon Lords make an appearance to vie for that Crown).
Check out the Conclusion text in the final chapter of the path for more details.

That's JUST what I needed - gosh, especially exactly where to look; I know I need to read ahead, but I didn't want to have to read all six of the next modules just looking for references to Graz'zt. Thanks, HS.
Thank you, too, Cibet. I did know from the previous thread about Graz'zt's involvement in DWP. Do you think that module is a good follow-up to the STAP?

Certainly not with the same characters. After ST the PCs will be close to (or over) 20th level, they would walk through the QDWP which I think is 10-14th level. In fact even with the same players it would not be great. The end game of QDWP is very similar to the end game of ST.
Both involve creating an alliance of demon lords to fight another demon lord.

The big HOWEVER:
Also, Graz'zt quietly lurks in Gaping Maw to attempt to claim the crown of Prince of Demons if Demogorgon is killed.

You might want to edit the pic of Tyralandi a bit.

The second pic removes the evidence of her devotion to Graz'zt. :-)
As for epic adventures, I'm trying to work Bastion of Broken Souls into the campaign around Ch 10 or 11. Since it will involve them ruining another of Demogorgon's plots.
