as it seems the forum ate my original post i was just wondering purely from a character options standpoint(feats/spells and so on) is it worth it? we are real hit/miss on fluff of a setting. i fully intend to buy it if there are enough Pros to Cons
I like it, but you may not.
It has only a handful of new feats, gear, prestige classes, spells, and monsters.
It's all good stuff, but if that is all you are interested in, than it isn't going to be worth the $50.
If you are interested in the fluff AND crunch, however, than it is totally worth it.

It's certainly pretty enough, and contains updated info (including retcons) for the major players of Golarion.
As far as Crunch goes, I really dug the Harrower and assorted attached mechanics. In fact, I dug it so much my next character is an Oracle Harrower, though admittedly I only dipped 4 levels in Harrower.

The crunch in this book is nice, but not worth the price.
This book is fluff-heaven. It brings back the warm tingling feeling I remember I had when opening the first Forgotten Realms boxed set and unfolding the maps.
However if you can do without a poster sized map then go ahead and buy the PDF - totally worth it if you dig the fluff even just a little bit.

My sentiments exactly!
Like the King of Vrock, I also won a PDF copy. But I still shelled out the ducats for a hardcopy. It's THAT nice. Heck, it even smells nice!

If I were a player, I would definitely say it is not worth the outlay if all you care about is the crunch. There is some crunch, and if you are a completist who must have every prestige class, feat and spell available in your collection ... well, then you're going to buy it anyway, regardless. But if all you want is the crunch, I would generally recommend letting your GM buy it and just borrowing it to review the crunchy parts.
On the other hand, if you are a player in a Golarion campaign who really likes wants to flesh out his character's persona with accurate world-specific fluff, the book is great. It gives a lot of info that can make roleplaying and character development much more detailed, involved and immersive.
Finally, I think it is a must if you are going to GM a Golarion campaign. I really, really wish it had been out before I started GMing Kingmaker several months ago. I'm reading through it now, and every day come across something new to enhance the campaign.
