Yes, the lasting animated dead seem very interesting.
I sometimes think that there is a tendency in 4e for it to turn into a series of encounters where the game takes a break in between for some hand-waved exposition (D&D encounters is big on this). Anything that bridges the gap between encounters and reminds players that the game is still 'on', that there characters are still acting in the game world, is a good thing in my opinion.
Wow, Finger of Death is seriously powerful. Espically when certain spells and such give Players an actual idea of how many HP a creature has, what resistances it has, what it's bloodied value is....Soo looking forward to this supplement!!
