I thought at this time that I might like to point out that the ludicrous fantasy setting in Spelljammer consisting of Phlogiston space and crystal spheres was actually a once widely believed theory of the cosmos.
It comes from a 16th century philosopher named Tycho Brahe, and was the accepted theory of reality until his former apprentice Kepler proved him wrong.
And yeah, I'd totally be game for a planetary book as well...I'll download "Red Revolution" as soon as I can to see how it went.

I think he proved him wrong by poisoning him with mercury.

It doesn't open up any possibilities that I could not have created by more interesting means, such as spelljammers. (my personal preference over something as mundane as a spell)
+1
I've loved the idea of Spelljammers from their very inception. When/if I ever have my group begin exploring space, they will be using this mode of transportation.
Sometimes the trip isn't about the destination, it's about the journey.

I'd recommend this if you want keeping it in your pocket to increase your chances. Please note, taking it out of your pocket runs a high risk of destroying the beneficial effects. As does an honest answer to the question "Is that a d20 in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?"
