2 Claw Attacks and Average Damage for a Monster

Rules Questions

In the Bestiary under making a monster from scratch, it talks about a monster meeting the average attack damage listed on the table (two columns that say high and low). It says that you take the average of all of the attacks they can make in a full round action, add your strength to each one and that is your average. I was wondering for have 2 of the same natural weapon (for this example, 2 claws) would you count it twice? I looked at the Gargoyle in the PFB1 page 137 and the math for him meeting average/high damage without dropping "to hit" chance is only correct if I don't count the claws as two attacks. I do, however, want to make sure. Thank you for the help.

You should count the damage twice if there are two claw attacks. But the damage listed in the table are just guidelines, and there are quite a few entries of the Bestiaries that don't exactly follow them. More damage but lower saves, or lower hp, or lower AC, etc. It adds more variety.

Fair enough and thank you. I'm using it as a rough guideline instead of written in stone. I was just simply curious before I start figuring out how many attacks this guy should have. Thanks again.
