So we all know how to pronounce "Demon" (Dee-Mun).

I've always pronounced Daemon the same way as Demon. Mainly because Demons in Warhammer are spelled "Daemons"

So to differentiate the two, do we pronounce Daemon like "Day-Mun"?

How do you pronounce it?

The correct way to pronounce the words is identically; demon = daemon.

However... in order to differentiate in game play, I generally pronounce them like:

Demon = DEE-mun

Daemon = DAY-mun

Not 100% accurate, but then neither is the game's combat system when compared to real life.

Thanks for the quick response James! I do it that way as well. But yeah, having played Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay for YEARS, I still slip up and call the Daemons, Demons every now and then.

The pocket linguist in me says the "ae" in "daemon" should be like the vowel in "festering", but DAYmon is close enough IMO
