5 slots as GM down, 1 sore throat, 4-5 hours sleep lost, multiple friends gained, awesome time had so far, and 2 slots as player to go with Kyle & Doug GMing respectively.

<---Enjoys the awesome PFS train.

Great time!

I'm sorry the wife and I could only come up for Saturday.

Matt thanks for running!

And it was fun to play at at table with Doug and his Piffany.

Shadow Lodge 4/5 **** Venture-Captain, Michigan—Mt. Pleasant

Hey, had a great time. My first con went well. Thanks Doug for running Midnight Mauler, it was a great game.

I wish I could have played more than the one game, but sadly I had my wife a couple of friends with me and while my wife has played PFRPG, I haven't been able to talk her into joining our PFS games yet, and the other couple hasn't played PFRPG at all. The husband played 3.5 with us before 4e, but his wife has only ever played 4e, and it would have been too much of a difference on short notice. They both sounded interested in learning, so hopefully next year we'll be able to play together for more of the slots.

Had a lot of fun GMing and playing. Saturday morning playing the Throaty Mermaid, Kyles dice were hot and our's were not! It was incredible.

Thanks to everyone who played and GMed!

Kettle...Pot...?!?

Guess your TPK in Throaty Mermaid, IN THE FIRST ENCOUNTER!, didn't count then, huh?

Grand Lodge 4/5 5/55/5 ***

My first M'Dog and I was pleasantly surprised with the turnout. Meet some new friends (put name to face) and great time hanging out with "the crew."

All the GM's worked hard, as usual, and the players all seemed to enjoy their games. Even the two TPK's that never happened. (**wink wink nudge nudge**).

Hopefully I can make it again next year. And hoping that it does not conflict with CODcon next time.

12ish hours of driving, 4 games, awesome friends... we won't mention the guiness.... btw Doug... do I have anything to apologize for?

But the bestest part is that my brother's g/f is super excited to play; talked characters the whole drive home

Oh Kyle .. she said she's going to make a gnome for your table to play the next time and is happy that she has me as a role-model for playing a gnome

*is a happy happy gnome*

I had a great time judging for and playing with you all. It was nice to meet new people and see some I hadn't seen in a while.

The Exchange 5/5

Thanks to everyone who came out and played at Marmalade Dog, and especially to those who volunteered to GM. We could not have had PFS there without the generous people who put aside their own convention time and run scenarios for the other attendees. I would like to thank Bob Jonquet for getting things started on Friday. I would also like to recognize my other GM heroes:
Daniel Luckett AKA ThornDLJ7
Matt Haddix
Kyle Baird
Swiftbrook AKA Swiftbrook
Thea Peters
Brent Baumunk

The convention could have been better organized but on the other hand it made me look not-so-bad by comparison... My only regret was not having the Iron Guard cut out a mouthy cavalier's tongue (only because the player could have handled it better than most).

I was trying to think of my most favorite time of the con;

Playing my gnomish inquisitor and annoying Kyle on the mermaid

Watching Kyle shed tears over the groups pseudo-TPK in the first encounter of mermaid

Hearing Doug say the words; If you're a girl then you can squeeze, if not then no you can't squeeze into the partial square.

......

Mine was telling Kyle that "I grow weary of correcting you" during Godsmouth Heresy :-)

And, of course, Kevin sucking eggs was hawt ;-)

I am glad there were no children around to witness all the telekinetic fisting Kevin was doing.

There was always a weird little glint to his eyes when he said he was going to fist an NPC

I think my favorite part was how despite the Thea's encouragement to tangle with an eidolon when the summoner was invisible, we ignored it and decided to start pinpointing her and throw alchemist fires at her, and any other fire abilities to ignite her. NO INVISIBILITY FOR YOU!!!

Despite Kyle having some assistance from a certain pre-gen "ally" of yours. I thought the rogue's player showed some good role-play "fog-of-war" thinking by trying to "save" your paladin from the soul-sucking cube-of-doom.

Yes, that was awesome. It was one of the few times I've had difficulty (with success) to not be mad at the player, only mad at the character. I was in a panic to protect Azerial's sister. She was blind, and entirely not sure what was going on, and no one was helping the poor blind oracle, and of course mecha mode, I couldn't talk.

I had see Invisibility too. And I was playing down to Tier 1-2. But yeah that made the fight a lot easier.

That and making a good Knowledge Arcana role to know that if you take out the Summoner the Eidolon goes *poof*.

You made up for it with the monkeys though.

Thea and/or Doug, those tubes you transport your maps in, what are they and where do I get them from? I liked Doug's because they have those carrying straps, can't remember if Thea's had those. I'm thinking I'd like to pick some up.

Got my tube today. It was damaged, called customer service ordered a new one, then realized while I do deserve the proper size I can salvage a portion of this tube, and thus I have a roughly 34" tube.

Also, I have a star now.
