I've got a party who went and got themselves all spread across the continent like a bunch of ninnies and I'm having to bring them back together one at a time. My girlfriend's druid is starting her journey to the coast to meet up with two of the four, but she's alone, and I need help getting her to match the rest of the group's level.
She's playing a bear shaman, and she's going to be doing a lot of wild shaping since she just got it at the end of our last session where she leveled up. The party is fast-tracking XP, so I think she needs 8000xp to level up.
I would like to handle it over the course of four or fewer encounters, but I'm afraid that she would demolish lower CR monsters in swarms, or alternatively, turtle the fights out with low rolls because action economy is bogging it down.
Currently I'm working on a maddened, blighted dryad who is destroying a large section of forest or some such, leaving only her own grove undisturbed until she is satisfied with the destruction. Then she will kill her own tree. So far she has soloed a team of 3 werewolves (one with a level in barbarian), and separately, three ice elementals (two small, one medium) bringing her to level six, so I'm avoiding those monsters.
Any inspiration would be helpful, because for encounters, I'm tapped-out. I'm in "I would rather be PLAYING" mode and not DM-mode...

If she's true neutral make her pick a fight with some good people that just want to exploit the forest to get more profit (a band of LG dwarfs that wants to cut down a big part of the forest to get fuel might be nice)
In most parties with all the the Good PCs around a druid doesn't get the chance to pick a fight with anything else but evil monsters.
It would make a good opportunity to make her RP more her "duridness". Go tree-hungers!!!

What about fighting a forest fire? What if the only help she can get to do so is by recruiting a local dwarven community to help? What if the cause of the forest fire is a fallen star, causing an invasion of abberations and strange mutations in local flora and fauna?
Add a werewolf Inquisitor tracking her to avenge his lost siblings, and trying to convince the dwarves she is a dangerous heretic and should be delivered to him.
