I'm 95% certain I've mentioned this before, but I actually crunched some numbers so here we go:
In the 14 years we've owned the Prius, it's cost us a grand total of well under $60,000, including original purchase, repairs, gas, maintenance, insurance, and so forth. I decided to go with a gross overestimate just for comparison. It's well over 160,000 miles, but let's round off.
So, cost to drive the Prius = $60,000/160,000 = $0.375 per mile. Let's go ahead and round up to $0.40/mile. Well, maybe there are some hidden costs in there, so let's go to $0.50/mile, or even the official government reimbursement rate of $0.575 per mile.
Cost to drive to DVC = 25.5 miles x $0.575/mile = $14.66. The Google trip time is 33 minutes, but let's round that up to 40 minutes.
Cost to take public transportation to DVC = $16.30, with a fastest time of 85 minutes.
And THAT, my friends, is public transportation in the U.S. It costs more than it does to drive alone, and takes over twice as long.
*SIGH*
Assuming you're lucky enough to have public transit. If you're unlucky enough to live outside of a major city, it's get a car or bust.

So I was playing NWN tonight, specifically the Shadows of Undrentide expansion (which is pretty good; Hordes of the Underdark and Mask of the Betrayer - the latter for NWN2 - are better, but HotU is a sequel to SoU, so I'm doing that one first) and it is fascinating how much I want to collect pieces from trees I cut down, gems from rocks I shatter, and other little elements picked up from Legend of Zelda - Breath of the Wild.
Recently in a PnP game I played, I had the impulse to have my character jump down from rafters, paraglide over to an NPC, and casually chat with him. Because that would have been really flippin' weird I deferred and chose to go by stairs (though later I realized that, given my character build, I totally could have - by feather fall instead of a paraglider, admittedly - and it wouldn't really have been that weird; the GM and I laughed at that quite a bit when we realized).

And, when you have as many minis as I do (over 1000) and you keep them all in a spreadsheet, searching for "stirge" or "barbed devil" or "troglodyte" or "derro" and coming up empty, only to find out that you really do have all of those figures, they're just called something different is... frustrating.
Seems like it would be fairly simple to add additional search terms, so when you search for "bloodsucker", for example, you get the "stirge" entry.

I feel ya',
I, Personally, do not buy from a 3rd-party site online because you can never know whether or not they are a complete scam.As poor as I am, I would rather buy direct from the box office, or Ticketmaster, and KNOW that my overpriced tickets are actually going to let me into the door. As opposed to all the horror stories you hear about people getting great deals on tickets, and never getting them, or even worse they are complete fakes.
Safety tip- If you see a website selling tickets online, before the Venue or Ticketmaster has them up for sale,
At best, they are...
Back in the early seventies, Pete Seeger came to Cornell to do a concert. He did two shows. Sometime during the second show, Seeger heard that a number of folks who'd bought legitimate tickets couldn't get in the door, because folks who'd bought counterfeit tickets already filled their seats. The second show ended about 11 PM, and the university wanted to close up the building - so he did a *third* show outside, for free. That's class. :-)

Oh, yeah, once you KNOW that that's what it's doing it's easy enough. It was just prepping for the Shattered Star game and thinking, "Man, I swear I had some stirges somewhere," only to have GothBard tell me, "Oh, yeah! They're in the Skull & Shackles set, but they're called something different!"
And ALL of the Wrath of the Righteous set is like that. "Blood demons" instead of babaus, "Sloth Demons" instead of dretches, etc.
It's just that I didn't put in all the tags when I initially entered them, so now it's updating the spreadsheet as I go along.

Thank you!
It's Wrath of the Righteous, book 3, Demon's Heresy.
The one I have has all the significant places with letters or exceptionally poor quality - I can't find an unmarked map of good quality.
If it doesn't work out, that's understandable. But I appreciate you checking! Thanks!
I downloaded the WotR poster map portfolio and it's... er... awful.
Most portfolios let you have GM views, player views, map tags on, and map tags off for every map in the AP.The WotR map portfolio is just three "artistic" renditions of areas. It's not particularly usable.
So I'm not surprised you can't an unmarked PDF; such a thing may not exist.
Wrath of the Righteous Interactive Maps has maps that you can toggle the things on and off. It includes a hex map for part 3. Resolution isnt the greatest, but at least you can turn off all the map markers.
If you send me an email, I'll mail the PDF to you.

We've finally completed the main story of Spider-Man on the PS 4, with Tiny T-Rex fighting the last fight last night.
If you haven't played it yet, I highly recommend getting a PS 4 to play it.
It's that good.
For the record, I've always HATED superhero video games.
you wanna know how realistic it is?
Orthodox jews dont show up on the streets of NY on Saturdays in the game.
That's damn realistic.
I think we also found at least two of our hangout spots in chinatown in the game, or at least the street.

I'm pretty sure that you can get Icewind Dale 2, and almost ALL of the old D&D video games on GOG.
EDIT- Most of them have an 'original' and 'remastered/improved' version.
In fact, the only one that I have never seen (anywhere) is the Spelljammer video game. (I still have the old 3&1/2" hard plastic 'floppy disks' for that game. From back in the day. OK I MIGHT be a LITTLE bit of a hoarder when it comes to stuff like that!)

How long will it be before no one is alive who knows what the Save icon is?
| Tacticslion |
It’ll probably kept out somewhere in the one century Mark. I mean, at least those who have no idea what it is from personal experience. People will still likely know, if only from second or third hand knowledge passed down. Of course, it’s also quite possible that it’ll be changed by some icon designer somewhere along the way, so that floppy disks are no longer the symbol of the save icon.
